  1. I came away HIGHLY impressed with him. That’s a dude who’s way more than just a shot blocker and dunker. He’s gonna have a long NBA career.
  2. Hell of a friggin win. Contributions from everyone.
  3. W/o Mast NU - 69 IU - 75 W/ Mast NU - 75 IU - 71
  4. NBA guys play an 82 game season, so I imagine they take a little longer with them.
  5. Sorry, didn’t realize this was a message board post and not an article. Hoping Mast is back Jan. 3rd but he might not be. Ramel is apparently also still with the team.

  7. Not me. When he’s bad, he’s bad. If his shots aren’t falling all of his weaknesses are magnified and our offense and defense are completely out of whack. And if you disagree with me, that’s fine, but Fred certainly doesn’t - as his leash has been super short with him this year. When he’s good he’s great, and it’s the most fun, husker-hoops thing I’ve probably ever witnessed. And the story itself, whether he is good or not, is amazing and I am incredibly proud to call him a Husker for life. Doesn’t mean we can’t be critical of the basketball.
  8. Losing this game is a difference of 2-3 games in conference we have to win.
  9. Next 20min will decide the rest of the season. You can’t lose this game or what we’d have to do in conference is essentially not possible.
  10. Can we get Allick off the court, please? Good lord what is this?
  11. My guess is he had it scoped. Should be fine by conference stretch.
  12. I just heard that also. No other details.
  13. I don’t know if anyone ever says anything but I really appreciate the work you put into these.
  14. I wonder if I can get him to carry me and a take a picture like he did when I was a baby?
  15. Idk man, Mast looks tired from the jump. He's just an old man with old-man knees. I think he's fine. He looks like a guy who can self-regulate and rest when he needs.
  16. I think it's important though that he maintains in the same role. I don't think this "works" if he starts. Then he has expectations and needed statistical output. Coming off the bench as a back-up PG fits him nicely. Interject some serious energy, dog a guy defensively, attack the paint, maybe hit a big shot, etc...
  17. My favorite play of that game was with ~:50 left and the game entirely in hand, JL jumps a passing lane and gets a tip, then dives for the loose ball. When players can eliminate having context determine their habits and effort you end up with a good team.
  18. We just rubbed our nuts all over their drum set.
  19. Who ever gets A'mare is certainly getting a project. I recently saw him play, there's a lot there to work with... Like, it's "all there." Just none of it is there yet. Also, just looking at his build - I'm not so sure he's not done growing yet. Roughly 6'8" now - could he be a 6'10" guy?
  20. Sorry just puked a little in my mouth.
  21. What's Hoiberg's record when we have roughly a week off? Isn't it miserable?
