Thomas is going to cause us issues. He would have looked good in Red. Clemson is a solid team. But beatable. Our first road game...not expecting us to get it done. Would be a nice win though. I would have signed up for 1-1 against Tech/Clemson

Pretty sure the team flew out late Saturday. At least...that’s what I though I heard Miles say. They should already be in S Carolina.

JPJ is shooting 50% of his shots from three and is hitting at a .179 clip. As I said in preseason this was my biggest concern coming in. Obviously that needs to get a lot better. Hopefully starting with Clemson.

It will only matter if we win those games. Miles track record on the road and vs Creighton is abysmal. Both will be tough. But winnable games. We will be favorites vs Creighton.

Moving and cutting seem to be a foreign concept in our offense most times. Points in the paint were lopsided and it wasn’t because Tech made an effort to feed the post. It was because they were working to get a higher percentage of shots and driving to the bucket. On our end we seemed to be okay with taking quick shots or standing around the 3 point line and having Palmer/Watson chuck it up. Im struggling to see how we win as many games as we are hoping for this year if we continue to take a high percentage of our shots from behind the arc. Either that has to change or we need to become a good shooting team which would be a first for a Miles club.

He doesn’t seem like a player that would transfer unless there is a coaching change ...or leave early for Europe. So yes, he will be back. He is not close to nba quality right now. Maybe that will change come March.

Beard is a very good coach. I thought it was interesting on how the commentators harped on the lack of movement in our “offense” and how it resulted in some bad possessions. It was the exact opposite for Tech on their end. Their action was much better.

I’d venture to guess this would have been a quadrant 1 win. Tech will finish top 50 in the RPI. Hopefully Miles can finally get us that first quad 1 win next week.

Not necessarily. We have plenty of more chances to get quality wins. Can we actually win outside of Lincoln though? Remains to be seen. Beating Clemson would be a good start. We we had a chance to make a mark tonight. On the verge of top 25. And we had a major letdown unfortunatly.
