I’ll start out with saying I’ve never been to a Nebraska practice. And, that I feel Travis Fisher will end up being a very good coach for us. But, we decided to put our under sized slow safety to cover Northwesterns slot man and best WR. Despite getting abused over and over Williams was still asked to cover him down the stretch. Maybe he was our best option. But I would have liked to see Cam Taylor on Nagel.

Maybe. But we are still one of the most sloppiest undisciplined teams in CFB. Maybe it was delusional to think Frost to get that cleaned up by this point. I don’t know. I do know we should not be 0-6 though.

Unfortunatly the dwindling of talent started years ago and only continued with Riley. The development just wasn’t there. I think most of the fanbase realized this would be a rebuild. But I don’t think anybody imagined this. It’s just year 1 and years from now we may look at this as a building block but I think people wanted to see improvements this year. And id go as far to say Frost expected it at well since he said a number of times that the talent was better than 4-8. Like at UCF I think we will see a pretty good jump forward in offense next year. The defense may take years if at all as Chinander is still a question mark. Six point favorites this weekend. Hopefully we win a game we are expected to win.

Worst coaching and recruiting in college football history? Cmon. I don’t think anybody is going to say Riley was anything but a failure but the current staff is deserving of some blame for the worst start in program history.

I hope not. I think Frost is going to get it done. I have some concerns with Chinander. But, I think we will start to see it pay off next year. Hopefully.

Who said he is getting over paid?

Unfortunatly this is going to make it that much harder to turn this thing around if Frost is even the guy. Recruiting is going to be tougher. Tougher to get players to buy in. All the fluff pieces this last offseason and positive press the program received from January to August will be flipped. This season can’t end soon enough.

That’s not saying much unfortunatly. And Frost is getting paid nearly double. I don’t think anyone thought this wasn’t going to be a rebuild but man.....we have a long ways to go starting from the head man down.

Only staff in Husker history to start 0-6. This is not the Frost effect we were expecting.

Hey, at least we are out here setting records. Nebraska is the first team in Big 10 history to commit 10 or more penalties in five straight games. I thought at the very least the sloppy play would be fixed very quickly under Frost. Boy was I wrong.

Can you imagine if Nebraska football had been implicated in a major recruiting scandal and it came out they offered 100K to a prized recruit? I can guarentee you their tune would be quite different.

Quite honestly I would rather give as many reps to Washington as possible. He’s the future. Not Bell. JMO

And now we are on to Frost’s ballyhooed recruiting prizes. HuskersOnline has reported that Greg Bell has left the team.

I agree 100% that the ncaa is not going to do squat. With that said, Creighton has already been implicated in arguably the biggest scandal to hit college basketball. That’s not good and is a serious black eye for a program and fanbase the believe they “do things right” and are super uppity. The excuse making and delusion that is currently happening in Omaha right now is downright laughable.

Yep. Everyone talks a good game in the spring. Like how Frost stated we have better than 4-8 talent. And the fanbase in general thought this team would look much better due to hiring a staff that would come and shore up the X's and O's and get the team to show up to every game. Hasn't happened. I was one of those guys who thought we would look much better and get to 7 wins. It's been a tough pill to swallow.

Well, this staff has done at least one thing well after this abysmal start. Benched Lamar Jackson. You can talk buy in all day but if you just trot out the same players making the same mistakes nothing will change. I can think of a few others that should ride some pine.

Sounds like he had quite the summer. We beat out some good teams to land him. He and Burke should be quite the tandem in getting to the basket. Would like another sharpshooter to go with Allen if possible.

The good news is that Purdue was our last win. If we can’t get it done this weekend we are probably talking about Frost going 0-6 to start off his tenure. If we show up, and not start terrible like the last 3 games I think we can pull it off.

To be fair, it’s impossible to quit when you don’t even get off the bus. That team didn’t want to play on Saturday and it showed immediately.

And this team is breaking new records. I expected 6-7 wins this year. So the fact that we are struggling doesn’t surprise me. But, the fact that we still lackin on the fundamental side of things and the team gave up very very early in this game is concerning. I’ll be even more concerned if the depth chart remains the same for next week.
