Thus it differs from Riley; after the Iowa game the season was over, and the announcement came the next day. Moos has consistently said that he wouldn't decide and announce until after the season concludes. My guess is if we don't make the NIT, an announcement will come tomorrow. If we do, most likely it will be within 48 hours of when we lose (unless we don't lose ?)

Of course he could have watched our games and watched his son. Not hard to catch a flight from Chicago to NoCal. In the end throwing $$ and landing a great coach would make this a minor and easily forgiven offense--but we've been doing crap like this for too long.

It should be up to the players. If they want to play, let them. If they're not fired up about it, then don't. Even if coach is dismissed before the tournament, Coach Mo or Coach Lewis could coach them. It wouldn't delay the coaching search one bit, plus that should be pretty far down the road already if we know what we're doing.
