Unless all the sudden Burkamper gets out of the doghouse and gets a try.I like the Greco kid before Hoensee or Howell, Howell has good stuff but I'm looking at maturity and tanit is where Greco has it and the other two don't IMHO. Greco has went 4 to 5 Innings and is just crafty enough to stay in a game. I think Greco would probably be the best option...but you have to get to that point to even worry about it so I would hope we use Greco out of the pen if we need him. If we don't have to burn him some innings then I think he would be our best option. I believe they will keep Greco in the pen. And as 13 says, he will likely be used too much in relief during the early games to start a game 4.

Barring a late season swoon and a screw job from the NCAA I have to think we locked up a regional bid. Huskers flight was cancelled last evening so they had to charter a bus to Omaha for tonight's game. Yeah, tonight could be a challenge. But, the guys are young, and school is out.

Not a fan of Cox? Just didn't seem like a high level assistant for the Big 12 level when he was here; he was definitely "available" at the end when things were looking bleak, and that may say it all. Not a strong recruiter, not a rising star, not a splash. Not sure what Doc is budgeted for assistants but I was thinking he could get someone more dynamic.
