Former poster who went by the nickname "Kidney" (and "whiteknuckle" before that, among other monikers) claimed to be able to authoritatively critique Doc Sadler's roster management based on his experience coaching 8th grade girls (championship caliber) basketball. I don't think he lost a game in 20 seasons. Undefeated all that time. He's the stuff of legends. Norm, I thought it was 5th grade girls. My joke to Jason doesn't make much sense if it was 8th grade.

I believe we have 5 coming in. They are bound by their letter of intent, unless we would release them. If they don't enroll, they are not eligible at a D1 school next year, without our release. Regardless, hopefully they have been communicated with appropriately, and will still be excited about the school they chose. As others have said, great facilities, great fan base, good University, great people in the state. But a tough thing to go through, no doubt.

Well, at least this is creating lots of attention on the women's board!

Every coach has different philosophies about fouling when up 3. Some coaches are all for it and some are against it. Not saying Jay Wright is against it but not all coaches agree about fouling late when up by 3. North Carolina is such a good offensive rebounding team; perhaps Wright was concerned about that.

Amazing how some of these writers can be so wrong. Amy was a walkon who played very limited minutes her whole time here. But she must have been learning the game; she's having a great career.

Liked the grinding and getting in some late quality at bats. The huge number of walks over the two games were wearing on the crowd. Glad it ended well. Cut back on the walks and we may be OK.

That hideous baseball game wasn't so hideous at the end. ;>) True enough. I was just getting cranky down 7-1 late after the 20th walk in 2 games. The walks wear a fan down. There was no life. A fan actually called out the dugout for not caring. But then baseball kicks in and the whole world changed. It was like closing time in the old days where that hideous gal at 9 p.m. was looking pretty awesome at 1:00 a.m.
