  1. I never thought he was that good. Jethro Tull and Lynyrd Skynrd were much more talented men. Don't forget Pink Floyd. He's good too.
  2. I smell and ESPN 30 for 30.
  3. 45.5 percent from three. Me like.
  4. I like MIles and hate when almost anyone that does anything has people saying, "Fire them," but I haven't like the offense run here with or without Smith. If anything I think the offense is better now than it was in 2013-14, at least in terms of its execution. There were very few assists that year. This year people are getting a lot more open shots, just not hitting them enough, and of course there is still the ever constant problem of scoring droughts, which frankly goes back to the Sadler days at least. Agree, would like to see more to our offense than what it is. I'd like to see us force the action more inside than we do now.
  5. Tai and Benny?
  6. That run by Iowa at the end of the half is what did us in as it turned out. Besides that, we didn't play that bad. Iowa could have run away with it but we didn't let them, and I'd say we played fairly good d against them. Also could have been a different game if McVeigh makes those corner shots.
  7. McCaffrey has now replaced Bo Ryan as the whiniest coach in the Big 10. He actually believes that his players have never committed a single foul in the history of basketball.
  8. Would you say Morrow is having his best game in a long time? Not scoring, but he's contributing.
  9. I'm seeing too much of one guy driving and four guys just standing outside. Someone needs to flash towards the hoop with the driver.
  10. I'll just answer that....no.
  11. Do we ever look for the screen and roll?
  12. And how long has it been since your last Nebraska basketball game my son?
  13. And against the zone. Usual stuff.
  14. What a start. Okay, got to keep them from going on big runs.
  15. Crap just got home, what did I miss?
  16. +1 to all of this Ditto! The BIG is down and we still can't finish in the top 5? For those that feel recruiting has improved since Doc was fired, I just don't see it. Miles should be given credit getting some good transfers, mainly Petteway 2-3 years ago. IMO he was the main reason we made the NCAA tournament, but he was also responsible for us not playing as a team at times. All that is in the past and I don't see us getting much better. He's still got lots of work to do, but while in previous years where his best players were transfers, this year I'd say is his best year year of freshman recruits, as a foundation for the future. You'd have to say that thus far Tai Webster was his best freshman recruit. But now we're starting to bring in some better freshman, along with continuing to also recruit good transfers. This seems to the recipe he's going off. I'm worried that this year might hurt future recruiting, but I gotta think that if we can land "that guy we're currently trying to get," next year momentum will really start to pickup.
  17. fwiw, I thought Hammonds did a nice job altering shots inside today.
  18. Agree with Smiles and Jones. I don't think this more than Coach wanting to play what he feels his best players are. I have a feeling we might see some of Hammonds today, depending on how it goes. While he is not going to offer us much offensive production, he does provide us with help on the defensive boards, and he can give you a few shot blocks with those long arms of his. It's a tough spot to be in for a coach, because you have to balance playing to your strengths without having the opposing team always dictate the type of players you have to play.
  19. Something tells me... Neb-78 IU-73
