How does this years roster stack up to last years?

I think this is a right side of the bubble team -
2023 Wing Brady Dunlap -> St John

Hahahahahaha... Yup, old and out of touch -

Sooooooooo color me clueless and generally out of touch. Why exactly did this get his offer revoked? Is it the lyrics? Something to do with the arm movements he is making? Good gosh I am getting old Edit-I can't really understand the lyrics and I don't know the song to look it up. -
If he does we're dancing.

Don't think there's a Petteway on this team, but I don't think that's a bad thing. That's not a dig on him either he's up there on my favorite Huskers list. On the flip side there sure as hell wasn't a Tominaga on the old team. I'm all in on this roster. I like it. I am no longer not sure if this looks like a tournament team. This looks like a tournament team. Not a lock but one that just gets in. One that causes a bunch of anxiety on Selection Sunday. But still a tournament team.

Welp, it looks like we no longer get a choice. It's karate chopped in the throat/ bonga bonga.

I mean how long has it been since our roster has had competition at nearly every position heading into the season? Iron sharpens iron right?!? I. Am. Stoked! From the depths of despair to start last season to the high I am on with how this off-season has played out is crazy.
-
Ah, the classic, "Would you rather be kicked in the groin or karate chopped in the throat?" debate.
-
Screw it. I'm jumping on this hype train with Handy. Damn everyone else's logic and reason. Choo Choo MFers!

We needed a PG. We got a PG. And one that played in the Big Ten . Go ahead and put me in the "pretty stoked" column.

Same.

I'd be dead right now because I would have bet my life 10 was the high water mark.

So if him and Gary are on the floor at the same time the plan is neither teams scores? I kid I kid

I don't disagree with any of your points. But, I could see this being a situation of the whole being better than the sum. Not unlike last year. And does it look like a lock tournament team? No. Does it look like a last 4 in tournament team? I am not convinced it's not. Ok I lied. I reread your post. I disagree with one point. Keisei is an unstoppable force that will have to be game planned against every game. He will be even better than last year. Take it to the bank.

I believe Matt Damon said it best in The Departed, "I'm fucking Irish. I'll deal with something being wrong for the rest of my life."
-
I'm not sure about that. Would still love two high level transfers
-
I like that 9 man rotation. I feel good about it. Only thing I think it needs is a guy that can play time at the 5 in case Blaise can't stay healthy.
-
Yeah, I'm ready to know the team we're gonna roll into season with so I can start convincing myself on the many reasons why this is the team that's going dancing and gets us our first tourny win

2021 SG Hunter Sallis ->Gonzaga->Wake Forest

I guess I'm in the minority here. I don't really care we missed on him. After having a year with a Nebraska kid that bleeds Huskers red I don't really have a palate for Nebraska kids that have to be coaxed here. -
Had a medically diagnosed high ankle sprain once. Put me out of commission from anything other than a light jog for a good seven - nine months. And this was when I was a much younger man. At one of my appt the MD was like yeah these are brutal. Often times if its a clean break instead of this kind of sprain people heal way fast than these. Gee, thanks for the info Doc . Not sure the truth of that but I felt he could have kept that little tidbit to himself.

I can't really comment on the sports situation in Nebraska. One, my oldest boy is just under 3 and the other boy will make his debut in the next week or two. Two, I moved out of the state a little over a decade ago. What I do want to add kinda pertains to @Navin R. Johnson comment. I sure hope it doesn't go that way. I grew up in Crete and sports was an integral part of my youth. Always planned on gently nudging my children toward sports. But I'll tell you what, I am really turned off by the way youth sports go out here (San Diego). We were the last in my group of friends to have children so we've had an outside view of their kids in sports. I can tell you I don't like the view.

I'm here to drink some beer and make it rain...and I'm all out of beer!

Isn't this a legal gray area if you don't stand to profit? Could be considered art? I know there is a case with Jack Daniels vs a dog toy that bears resemblance to a JD bottle before the Supreme Court right now. Edit to add - plus if they sued it would put eyes on the fact some randos on a fan site came up with a better idea
