  1. I think he could be in line for a better job. I think what he accomplished here at Nebraska has aged well. And what he has done at SJSU is remarkable. And CSU before those two.
  2. I wouldn't blame them but I still think it's a horrible decision. I might give you Griesel. But no way Walker. He stands to make money. My guess a good bit. And it is absolutely a horrible decision to play in a game that doesn't matter and risk injury which would compromise that money.
  3. Sure I'll explain. I think it serve zero purpose. It just doesn't matter. And I think it would actually be a horrible decision for Tominaga, Walker, Griesel, anyone that wants to transfer, anyone that stays, and Hoiberg to play in it . Its a no win for all of them. And for me as a fan I don't care to see it. And by no means do I judge anyone that would. Edit to add - Also if I was advising Tominaga(assuming gone),Walker, or any transfer I would most likely advise them to skip the NIT as well. But as a fan I do still care a bit about the NIT
  4. As Polish said, ”NIT or bust!" Please lord baby Jesus don't let the CBI the last memory of this team
  5. You had me on the Keita post. You lost me on this Breidenbach post. Not because I think he is unsavable. He could develope. What frustrates me is his decision making/not playing within himself during games. Right now he needs to limit himself in what he tries to do. Try to do something really well and go from there. Right now he tries to do a whole bunch of stuff and he does nearly all of it below average.
  6. I'm right here with ya! This team is a good story and I think that matters a little bit. Especially for the NIT. I really don't think ANYONE would make much of a stink if they made it in either. And I think that matters a bit. And I think you can sell a game with Nebraska and unnamed team and people will buy it. And that matters a bit.
  7. And that's Nebraska basketball in a nut shell right there
  8. Given Hoibergs history and college basketball in general right now this is probably the most likely scenario. But I'm over here like Dr. Strange right now and I see a pretty reasonable path to a pretty solid roster next year without a "bunch" of turnover. On the flip side we could be in a "thread the needle" situation here real soon too.
  9. I agree, but I don't think we would have to match it for him to stay.
  10. I sure hope the rules change and we can pay him. I think keeping him is the best/easiest path to a successful season next year.
  11. Yup. Need size and out of the 3 he's the one I'd keep. Also, I'd probably put Wilcher on the list of coming back. Then take 4 dudes in the portal and run it back. I like that team.
  12. This is a great breakdown. And I agree. And I think Keisei is the absolute #1 recruit Hoiberg needs if he is gonna have this team at least on the bubble. I stand firm on this. #2 is an adequate replacement for Walker.
  13. Agreed. With as bad as we played we were lucky to even be in the position we were in. I just thought... Maybe once... Maybe the sun DOES shine on a dogs ass. But nope. We're just a cold and shady dogs ass.
  14. FUCK that was close. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. IT HUUURTS.
  15. I mean THATS the kinda call that warrants a T from the coach!
  16. I just want to tell you I have really appreciated your optimism during some of these, for me, hopeless Husker times this year
  17. Damn court monster has it out for us as well
  18. Hmmm So after hearing the announcer do you all say "net” as in the word or n.e.t.? I always thought of it as n.e.t.
