    I agree. I think he's figured out how he wants to approach transfers in this new portal era. Took him a bit to get his sea legs under him, but I think he'll be steady from here on out

    Nope. I'd wager we'll average 5 transfers every off-season from here on out unless they change the rules of the transfer portal. Silver lining that many transfers probably encourages the underclassmen to stay. Especially since the Super Senior are no longer a thing.

    Two issues I see with this. Don't know how this works with the portal dates as they currently are. Gonna have teams there with a bare bones roster. The other issue is generally when you make people do something they don't want to they're not gonna give the greatest effort. Or it makes the transfer decision for the player easier to make sooner.

    I have nothing but a feeling, but I feeeeeel this can't be true. Gotta be closer to 50/50 right?!? Like we have 6 open spots. Presumably they will all transfer down/laterally. And we'll fill 6 open spots. From guy moving up/laterally. Make it make sense!

    I am really good friends with an alum and HUGE fan. Refuses to engage in conversation about it because he's afraid to jinx it Told me at the beginning of the tournament to watch out for DJ and that they are sneaky good.

    The only counter point I'd make, because I agree with you, is in professional sports EVERY contract isn't up EVERY year.
