  1. Assuming he just wants new scenery. Iowa fans don't seem too bummed about it. Good depth piece imo.
  2. That graphic makes my brain hurt
  3. Damn. OU handing out NIL cash right off the plane.
  4. I'm pretty sure every team in America wants a PG like that
  5. The three previous felony charges are probably one thing.
  6. Your players are more sought after by other coaches the better your team is. Who woulda thought?
  7. That's fair I get that. Just wanted a better game for a natty.
  8. Looks like Shtolzberg is from the west coast. Bet he transfers back there somewhere. Tough to make that adjustment to live in the Midwest.
  9. @jdw What gives on the downvote? UConn only lost in conference. It's statistically true
  10. Another Big East team was the only chance we had at getting a better game. UConn was a damn locomotive otherwise.
  11. Get a ton of minutes, show your talents as a ball handler/slasher and defender, improve on your shooting, and all while playing alongside the MVC POTY. And he already knows the Devries family well. Would have to swallow your pride on NIL though, which is why it won't happen.
  12. It won't happen, but his best move would probably be to go to Drake and play with Tucker Devries and run the MVC together.
  13. The benefit of past transfers was they had a whole year to acclimate with the team and learn the system while they sat out. Now you have to be selective in both who you bring in from both a talent as well as buy-in stand point. I feel like the staff did a great job of finding that right mix with Sam, Bando, and Gary.
  14. Kerr is a wild card. Great passer and serviceable shooter, but defense is suspect and can get very emotional (which can be a good and bad thing). I'd prefer a little more poise at PG, but I think it'd be a good get.
  15. That's the product of a football-first state. I don't think a majority cares about anything basketball related regardless.
  16. Ya luster wasn’t the right word. But you’re right. Especially with the deep pockets of the league. It’s very cyclical. I do hope the league starts adapting more to what Hoiberg wanted to do in the first place with his offense tho instead of the going through the big man route. I think that equals better tourney results overall.
  17. Somewhat related but somewhat not, are we a tourney-caliber team by now with HCFH if we’re still in the Big 12? Considering how good the league has gotten and HCFH most likely not having to overhaul his entire coaching philosophies, I think it’s pretty evident we’d be in a better spot than we are. It seems like playing these B1G teams with how subpar the conference does in the tourney each year is starting to lose its luster.
  18. That's what would concern me if the rumors were true about him and Chucky coming as a package deal. Sallis isn't transferring here to come off the bench. They'd both be starting together. I don't know if that'd be a very productive 1-2 with two dribble heavy guards.
  19. I get the metrics, but this is not a great look.
  20. If they keep winning I’m thinking those transfer chances are dwindling the more he plays in these games. He’s a great defender but he can’t shoot. Do we need more guards that can’t shoot anyway?
  21. Narrator: “He signed a million dollar deal with Japan the following day.”
  22. I think it’s more with their President than the AD. The President is the guy who wanted him fired for the “comment”. Based on message boards it doesn’t seem like most people like the guy anyway. Seems kinda like our Pearlman
  23. Did he ever fully recover from his injury mid-season? Did we even figure out what that was? I honestly don't remember.
  24. I think the goal should be close to what Rutgers has established itself as the past 4 seasons. Not expecting you to be the MSU, Purdue, Indiana, Illinois's of the world. But at least get to a point where you're consistently competitive for the middle of the B1G.
