I am hoping Rice can develop into a Battle type player for us. Similar size and lefty stroke

I’m not so sure. Totally agree we need 2-3 impact transfers but I think the foundation is vital. We need to commit to continue valuing defense and ball movement. The foundation guys need to provide that and step up their games for us to move forward.

That is incredible, well done Nebraska fans -
I wonder why we have not heard from Penitent since this game? Some pretty interesting predictions in here by a few folks. One thing I know is that people who feel the need to point out when they get something right, are not right as often as they want you to believe. Nice regular season guys. I’ve enjoyed this season more than any since the tourney team. GBR always

Hard for me to really say as I have not been to any MN games this year. I just follow his stats and highlights when I can. I was always curious on how he would develop. Definitely stronger and quicker as you mentioned and his shot looks nice but needs more consistency. Very curious at what level he will end up.

He has been really good since he was a little kid. Used to watch him dominate back when he must have been 7-8 years old. Be interesting to see what type of offers he ends up with.

Minnesota (7-19) vs. Nebraska (14-14) Game Thread

Fred said Lawrence is good to go and Keita is questionable (im not counting on seeing him) -
I think Sam is more athletic than some of you give him credit for. He has nice quickness, decent hops, and pretty strong. Think his shot is better than OK. To me he has improved a lot since high school and if he had his Dad's height look out.

He will get a chance somewhere, glad it will not be here. Police reports still indicate she was beaten and I personally do not want anyone like that coaching here, same with Mickey J who I really liked.

2023 SG Parker Friedrichsen -> Wake Forest...for now

We recruited him pretty hard after that initial visit he set up on his own. It was not a Harrison Phillips deal. -

Add Lawrence and Sam H and this is the type of offense I hoped to see from Fred all along. -

Ha, you take the glass half empty side to new levels . Not a dig, I know being a NUHoops fan is rough and we all deal in our own way. -

Wonder how hard we will try after being crapped on twice already. On another note CU boosters are very worried McDermott will go to ND. Apparently not a fan of current leadership. -
USC & UCLA TO JOIN BIG TEN (beginning 2024)!

I don’t know why you keep bring up Texas beating us in football? It had nothing to do with us leaving like you are implying. It’s no secret UNL did not like Tex dictating conference terms and other schools supporting them. That and the opportunity to join the most stable and financially profitable conference in the country are the reason we left. You think our fans hate Texas? Ark and Tx A&M really hate them and they wanted to get away from them for the same reasons we did and it had nothing to do with the games. -

He had lunch with Baylor Scheierman a few weeks ago. Think he is not an actual agent but one of their recruiters. -

‘He is not living up to the hype. William Kyle from Bell West is having a better year as a true frosh -

Looked like he was enjoying the game. A lot of recruits have their heads in their phones a lot but he was into it. I did not talk to him so I don’t have anything else for you. Just confirming he was there -
