I hope the "old bluehairs" see what a difference a crowd can make. That atmosphere was something unmatched in over 150 bball games and well over 50 football games that I've been to. The entire game was just awesome. Wow.

I just wanna know how many students are going to the game. What's the hype like on campus?

I'd like, for one game, there wasn't a rush to leave before the final buzzer.

I don't think people will care as much if you're standing and yelling. The crowd will easily get into this game. Sure, there will be some who aren't, but I think this will be a bigger atmosphere...

Went with McWhatever after Chuck hit the three against Tech. Got to the airport, nobody could direct us, saw them loading the bus, sped down to the Devaney and gave the team and coaches high fives. Safe to say, this is bigger than that moment.

One game. There has got to be a way to win one game that nobody really expects you to win. We keep hearing how tired the guys are, how injured Pettaway's back is. Even so, the Indiana game has a bunch on the line. What's it going to take? What's gotta give? How can we pull it off? I have never been so jacked for a game in which I was going to miss some of it (Ash Wednesday). Please, Huskers, find a way!

So winning one of two between Indiana and Wisconsin, and the first game of the tourney (either quarterfinal as 4 seed, or, more likely in a 1-1 scenario, against the 12 seed, may not be enough. Really think we need MSU to win both games this week to give us some breathing room, because losing both this week pushes other bubble teams ahead. Heck, even if we win both, it would still help. This is the biggest week in Nebrasketball since when? Last week? 1999?

Last year Ohio State and Michigan State tied for second....and Michigan and Wisconsin tied for fourth. So, really, Iowa finished 6th.

We'd play winner of Ohio State/NW as it stands now...With an extra day of rest that's not the worst scenario. But the next one would be winner of #1 and #8/9 game...

Iowa has got Purdue, then @ Michigan State, then back home with Illinois. With how they are playing, I think it's gonna be tough to win out.

I have to believe he will get out of this slump, or at least have a couple nice games. History is on Ray's side, isn't it? I may be in the minority, but I don't count him out yet.

It's fun right now. My mom calls me every game day to talk about the game in some capacity...stays up past her bedtime to watch the late ones. My dad is trying to come to the game with me Saturday (anyone have an extra ticket...mine are in 311). I get texts from uneb and nuled around almost every game, my co-workers are talking about Nebraska basketball, my friends are texting or tweeting about it. I've said all along if NU could just win fairly consistently, we will raise some heads. Good to see this happening.

I think it's sort of a win-win. There is little chance we would get a 4 seed without winning out and if we win out, there is no way we aren't in the tourney. Or to put it another way. There's no way they're gonna shut out the 4th place team from the freakin' B1G from the dance. I mean, has that EVER happened? I am almost positive Iowa was snubbed out of a 4 recently...they lost their only game in the conference tourney....

Let's say we get in a tie breaker with Purdue and we have split our home-home for the season. Wouldn't the next tie breaker be how each team fared against the Big Ten champion? With Purdue's remaining schedule, I don't think we get close to tying unless we lose to them, which would be a mute point on the tiebreaker. Minnesota has a difficult schedule too.

If not can some of us old guys from up top fill in? We sit in 311, and we were moved down to 112 right behind the hoop. LOTS of open seats. I mean, well over one hundred. Maybe 200. I don't care who sits down there as long as they are loud. Also do the students not wear the same shirt anymore? The costumes, etc, were funny at the start of the season, but....

I don't know what happened last week that half the student section didn't fill in during the Illinois game...but will it be more full now?

What kind of jump in RPI does this mean?

You need a good excuse to not make it there on Thursday. I hope the place is packed. No seats should be empty!!

Winning out at home enough?

Ray is going to have a more difficult time going off now....

A lot of us seem to have Ray as the wildcard. He had a few games last year where he hit 5-7 threes, time for that to happen again. Need something from everybody-Shavon, Terran, Walt, Ray...even need something from Hawkins and Parker and Rivers, or else we may have a short bench today. History says we lose by 20-30. Another slow start will be really tough to overcome.
