I'll pick "Irrational Exuberance" (But then again, I Always Do! Especially after the Exhibition Game and before Conference Play begins. )

Thanks for the discussion @huskerfrank. We need more like it for WBB. I'm hoping Bella gets more recognition for her (ample) talents and contributions this season now that she won't be in Kate Cain's shadow. As you mentioned she's a monster defender; I think we were very fortunate to get her as a transfer. I'm thinking we are going to be pleasantly surprised by the incoming recruits this year. It seems last year's team out-performed a lot of our expectations (or we underestimated their abilities) and I'm hoping (expecting ) this year's team does too! I'm only disappointed that we won't get to see Tatiana play this season, but that may bode well for the future.

I think I read where Nailah Dillard is out for this season because of a torn ACL she suffered recently after just returning to practice following season-ending hip surgery last season. I'm a little surprised (read disappointed) that Tatiana Popa is redshirting; we must have good depth at that position now; maybe she needs additional time to fill-out grow into her frame and develop more. Trinity Brady seems to have been in a 'news' void for about the past year.

B1G MEDIA DAYS - 2021!!! First Five minutes cover WBB with Coach Amy Williams, Issie Bourne, & Sam Haiby! One of the more informative interviews with Coach Amy that I have heard (along with Issie & Sam). I really thought Dave Revsine did a good job on the interview asking relevant and more penetrating questions (than we are used to from some of our locals). I would have liked for more time to be devoted to the Women's Basketball program, but it is B!G Media Days and there was a lot to cover (Dave had a nice interview with Fred Hoiberg, Trey McGowens, and Alonzo Verge for the last 15 minutes of the video).

Thanks for posting the video. It's so much more informative seeing Kobe & CJ knock-back, joke around and have a good time (rather than the stiff press conferences we usually see). -

More and more, I'm liking the LOOK of this TEAM! (and I'm just as glad to see the lack of 'hype' associated with 'irrational exuberance!')

2022 F Isaac Traudt - Virginia->Creighton
Red Don replied to Navin R. Johnson's topic in Husker Hoops Recruiting
I understand that everyone would rather do it with 'Home-Grown' kids. But Fred Hoiberg is not letting the fact they're opting to go out-of-state faze him in the least. He has assembled what is probably one of the most talented teams most of us have ever seen and is recruiting more top talent than ever before. -
But the Team only plays one at at time!

Downloaded the Huskers/com app to listen to the Illinois game - but it keeps pausing after 5 or 10 mins or so & I have to press play again to listen (could be some dumb setting on my 'Smart' Samsung phone. (I've had this problem in the past). But then it paused while Greg Sharpe & Matt Davison were wrapping up awaiting Coach Frost for a post game interview. When it came back on it was the KSU volleyball game (and the football game was no longer an option on the menu. I'm sure the over-the-air broadcasts didn't cut off the post-game show like the Huskers App. Either that or the Huskers App can't handle more than one game broadcast at a time. They are going to have to do better than this

OT: Printed vs. Digital Tickets: The Debate
Red Don replied to HuskerFever's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
I had posted this over on the WBB Forum. On 8/21/2021 at 12:51 PM, Red Don said: I think most folks prefer the paper tickets (hence the athletic dept walking back their transition to all-digital; they are now allowing fans to choose a paper option). I had some experience with digital football tickets last year. After initial trepidation regarding the technical aspects about storing your tickets and, in my case, transferring individual tickets for others, say family members/friends to use, the process turned out to be pretty seamless and easy to use/transfer. I can see where it could be useful for basketball where there are so many more games, i.e. you may not be able to attend every game and want to give/sell your tickets to someone else without having to worry about getting the physical ticket to them. -
