A couple have mentioned the NIT 3rd Round/Quarterfinals win over TCU. I didn't get to go to a whole lot of games as a kid and was off to college the next year and have been out-of-state since then, but I went to that game with my older brother. I think he was in law school at UNL at the time. The atmosphere was great - I primarily remember Stan Cloudy from the team and the red, white and blue ball used in the NIT. After the game was over, they blasted 'New York, New York' through the sound system. It was awesome.

He also had the nice move to go back to his right, just needs to work on the strength/coordination with the right hand.

And...they've officially blown it with a TO and easy BSU bucket. And a horrible 3-point attempt at the other end.

Will Tom Eades be in town? I've heard he has an RV parked out back at PBA so he's readily available to screw the men's team over. If he's not, he could rent it out for some lucky fans.

I posted something similar in the last Wisconsin game: it is almost inconceivable how someone so talented can be so bad shooting free throws. I think he would shoot a better percentage if he shot blindfolded hook shots from the line.

They called every body foul on Nebraska and none on Wisconsin. If they looked at Happ a little crosseyed, the whistle blew. So frustrating. However, it was nice that they called Davison (sp?) for some of the BS charges he tries to draw, so that was welcome.

I'd like to see a true PF (6'7" to 6'8" range), beefy but fairly athletic. Need help on the boards and guarding the other big guys around the league. Love Copeland and Roby, but without embracing the rebounding mentality, and it is a mentality more than anything, they are not thick enough to consistently avoid being shoved around underneath.

You got that right. His 5th foul was absolute BS. The guy was fumbling the ball and there was nothing more than incidental contact.

Something akin to the 8-year plan certain college attendees seem to follow. I'm looking at you, Grant Gibbs.

I haven't made any of those doomsday comments, but I think the mindset is just a result of the continued frustration of Nebrasketball. They never seem to be able to get over the proverbial hump. That game was there for the taking. Just too many STUPID mistakes (ridiculous turnovers, dumb dumb dumb fouls, stepping on the out-of-bounds line multiple times, defensive breakdowns letting Bates-Diop and 'Wreckingball' Tate get uncontested or nearly uncontested layups, allowing young Mr. Dakich to make too many plays, etc.).

This. I think Stringer is highly overrated at this point in her career.
