Seems to always be a theme with recruits.  First article out after their visit is they seem to like what they see at NU but that doesn't mean anything unless they sign on the dotted line.

What's not to like about a free trip to watch college basketball teams compete? Can anyone cite an example of a recruit tweeting something like " boy, that visit really sucked"? Any of these kids with my warped sense of humor should do this sometime whether they had a good time or not, just to be different.

I have essentially zero interest in what recruits have to say. My takeaway from this stuff is who visits because most kids won't even consider signing here without visiting. Having kids come to Lincoln and see the facilities and crowds as young as possible is huge. Especially great to see talented Kansas City kids.

Exactly. Same mantra as football recruiting. Gotta get 'em here to see a game, preferably a big-time game atmosphere. The "Go-To" from there on: Establish and maintain an on-going relationship with good players, perhaps they will become great players in due time.
