Not that it means all that much in the preseason, but Jerry Palm released his (very early) bracketology today.  NU comes in as a #5 seed - playing in Omaha.

I don't think I need to explain to all of my Big 8 brethren what a Cornhusker/Jayhawk match-up in Omaha would look like. Personally I think we'll get a higher seed, but staying in " the Good Life" country would be beyond huge...

You read that wrong....He has the Huskers in Pitt, not Omaha. Would probably have to be a top 2 seed to make Omaha.

I don't think a #2 seed is out of the question, and I would WALK to Omaha for a Cornhusker/KU match-up...

Nebraska - Colorado is more likely, which I would love to see.  I can see NU getting as high as a #7 seed, which could line up nicely I guess with a 3rd round matchup with a #2 seed.  KU slots in pretty well at the #2.

Nebraska is a 6 seed in the preseason version of Bracket Matrix with 30 brackets reporting. Wisconsin is a 1 seed, OSU and MSU are 5 seeds, Nebraska and Michigan are 6 seeds, and Minnesota and Illinois are 10 seeds.
