Is there more out there for this team, sure, but this was still a historic season. The past 16 years are the perspective through which we view what happened this season. Quote

It will be defined by how they handle the certain increase in expectations and whether this team can take the next step of winning a game or two when they get back to the dance, because that will be the expectation. If they do that, then it will undoubtedly be a historic season. I don't know if that's how ESPN approached things, but frankly, it's difficult to put a definition on what will or won't be disappointing on this side of things because there are so many variables that will impact what happens next year that we can't remotely anticipate yet. But this team absolutely has a chance to be "historic" independent of what their win total or finish in the conference ends up being. Quote
