Has a new article about some recruits.  Unfortunately I am not a member so can't read it.  If anybody is, and wouldn't mind sharing some bits and pieces that would be awesome.

In summary, this is what Robin had to say in his new article:

Coaches took turns heading out to recruit during the off week. Miles was down in Texas Tuesday to watch Deng Deng. It is believed his top 2 are Nebraska and Baylor with NC State trailing behind. Deng is close to setting up an official.

Craig Smith was in North Dakota Wednesday paying Trey Dickerson a visit. An offer could be coming soon once Miles gets a chance to watch him play.

Kenya was in Chicago Wednesday visiting Edward Marrow. We might be the school to beat for Morrow with all the familial connections with NU.

Robin Washnut.  :D

He said wash nut.  Heh heh heh heh heh.   :P

Going back to when he was working at the DN, it took me at least five years to figure out there was no "n" in his name...

So it's Robi ?

Yep.

sooo... dickerson is a pg, morrow is a sf, and deng is a sf.

those guys don't really fit the "We are one big away" phrase

Deng is 6-8, so I would consider him a 4.  I don't know if it said in the article that he is a sf though.  If it is down to us, Baylor, and NC State then I think you make room for him.

Dickerson is a scorer and a point guard, with good teams after him, so I don't think you can pass on him either.

We also have Hammond who is 6-10, 230, coming in next year and Nick Fuller who is 6-7 and I believe will play 4 at Nebraska, so they will both be added to the mix.

If we end this class with Dickerson and Deng, I would be extremely happy.

Then you would have "bigs" consisting of:

Pitchford

Smith

Deng

Fuller

Hammond

Rivers (depending on these next few games, not saying he will be asked to leave, but if he struggles these next couple of weeks, I don't think he would get much PT next year.  I hope he plays good because he could give you 10 to 15 good minutes a game next year.)

Then Terran/Shavon can play spot duty at the 4 if needed.

So we have Hammond coming in. Then there's one spot plus any spots that come up due to attrition. For the remaining 2014 spot we've heard of:

Dickerson

Pusica

Morrow

Deng

Who do we take? How many of them do we take? However many of them choose to come here, I just hope we have enough spots come open too accept the graduate transfer or JUCO big man that comes knocking. We need that extra big, the immediate contributor to shoulder the load while Hammond eases into college ball.

Okay so I was typing at the same time as bigred4. Bigred4, and anybody else, what about Pusica? Is he the deadeye shooter we need?

I think its safe to assume that they will not pass up on Dickerson or Deng.

I think a shooter would be a good get for this class, but if we get Dickerson and Deng then it would be ok to not get a shooter.  Our best 3 point shooter graduates, so who will replace him?  Fuller and Hawkins are shooters so hopefully they could fill that role.  Maybe Pusica is a potential fallback option? I don't know.
