Possible transfer

Desirae Ball a PG from St Louis U is at Nebraska this weekend as a possible transfer. Cheryl Harriman tweeted a picture of Chris showing her around. Now it may just be a joke because she did put hehehe after the transfer part but who knows. Ball was the only player to start every game for SLU last year. Just figured I'd throw it out as something that could could be nothing as well.

Why would the asst men's coach be showing a women's recruit around ?

Chris was an assistant at St Louis and may have known her from his days there.

Wonder if she is a family friend. Like maybe was a "nanny" for the family.

Seems like she knows the kids pretty well.

Coach Shimmy came from SLU at the same time coach Harriman did too. Interesting turn of events if Desirae is a potential transfer which I don't believe based from her tweets about new SLU coach Lisa Stone. But if true she would have played under Shimmy for a couple seasons.

I understand that Shimmy was coach at SLU, But if Nebraska was recruiting her wouldn't a coach from the WBB team be doing the recruiting just asking.

I'm not a guru on ncaa rules but I'm pretty sure it would be a violation for a member from Nebraska WBB to literally make public anything about a potential recruit or transfer. That's not to say desirae isn't a potential recruit. I have no idea. It just feels like she forged an extremely strong relationship with the Harriman family, which is totally awesome, but has nothing to do with where she will play bb.

And that's my point, If this were a recruiting trip don't you think the WBB coaches would be the ones showing her the campus and such.
