Cell Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Okay ive read some things in this thread that I think need to be corrected.. 1) I'm not sure how many people actually read the article but the Coach (Breakers coach Andrei Lemanis) actually said that staying in New Zealand is a "solid alternative" to the college system. Some players may suit the college route and others might suit the pro route. I believe this is true. Anyway what coach doesn't believe his system is the best? http://www.nzherald.co.nz/sport/news/article.cfm?c_id=4&objectid=10871634 2) Jonny Flynn is not the front runner for MVP. In fact it was given out 2 days ago, Cedric Jackson won it, he plays for the NZ Breakers (same team as Tai) and was on the Spurs Summer League team last year. 3) Shawn Redhage was definitely not on the last Australian Olympic team. He is the 3rd or 4th best player on his pro team in the Australian League. 4) The Australian league is not that bad haha. Over the last few years a few guys have got drafted out of it, and a whole lot more have had NBA camp invites or summer league spots. Don't kill me for this but I think the NZ Breakers would probably beat Nebraska. Hoping this clears up some confusion. I hope Tai does go to Nebraska just in case you wondered though Norm Peterson 1 Quote
huskerbaseball13 Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 What's even more interesting was Atewe and Webster tweeting at each other. Tai is N folks...and it looks like Atewe is also. Norm Peterson 1 Quote

TheKamdyMan Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 so as I joke to tip his hand I tweeted Tai and Atewe after thier convo if it meant they'd be roomies with one side of the room NZ and the other side Canada. Tai said he is already set to room with Nathan Hawkins. So that should put to bed to rumors of him thinking of overseas (not that Robin didnt already). Hawkins then joined the tweet as Tai linked him and Hawk said they need the canadian in the mix. update as Nick Fuller has now favorited my tweet since Tai retweeted it so now we just need Atewe and Sai to jump in and I will have got all 5 involved on a tweet. Silverbacked1 Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Bunk beds work really well if you need 3 to live in a dorm room. Quote
trickey Posted March 25, 2013 Report Posted March 25, 2013 Looks good with both Webster and Atewe to me. Thanks....that was the point of my posting the tweet. I would have commented earlier but the RAIN was pretty intense. Quote
