Thanks for posting.  I was at this game and remember it well.  Frustrating game.  The Big Country/DC match-up they spotlighted at the beginning of the game turned out to be a good match-up.  Both played well....Damn that Big Country was an ugly cuss.

Interesting the interview they showed with Danny coming out of the first media timeout he did the "only game in town" bit.  I wonder if Creighton fans got rankled by that one.  Of course there weren't as many of them back then.

Gallagher/Harstad were crushed like a bug the year before in Lincoln. That's probably why you didn't hear as much chirpin' back then.

Late 1990 of the 1990-91 season is when we crushed CU like a bug.   However they won a game or two in the dance that year IIRC and we still haven't.....

 

Man, for the Husker hoops fan in my era the 90-91loss in the tourney and 93-94 loss in the tourney have to be our equivalent to the 1984 Orange Bowl.

Agreed, debating whether the Xavier or the Penn loss is worse, is like drinking a tall glass of cold gravy.
