The last 3 games we got embarrassed.  We looked terrible.  The way this game started it definitely looked like another embarrassment.  Thankfully our 3 point shooting got hot. 12 for 21.  When we get hot on 3's (like many teams), there's a very  good chance we will win. Also Markowski was making most of her bunnies.  I wish we could shoot like that every game but we don't.  I still stand by we need better players if we are going to be competing to be in the top 1/4th instead of usually in the middle of the pack.
You also have to take into account that half the team was sick, so I'm not buying all of your guys's BS.

First of all, I hate when a team loses people want to use the sick excuse.  If they are able to be on the court they aren't that sick. Yesterday the announcers on the men's game kept saying how sick Williams and Essigian were.  Yet Williams had another great game.   Secondly I don't understand what your "I'm not buying your BS" is about??  Thirdly I don't give a shit what you think.

While I agree we sometimes shoot ourselves in the foot (players and coaches). The last three quarters looked like a healthy team. Having 6 players in double figures, plus Britt had 8 assists. We need to continue to use Petrie in the post. I think sometimes we forget what she can do for us. This can also take some pressure off Alexis. Getting Nissley to feel good taking threes. IMHO she is out best long range shooter along with Rimdal. Hake is still a little too streaky at this point. A feel great win going into a road trip to IL.

I would point out do we not go to work when we are less than 100%? I know I have pushed through after coming back from a illness. You do what you need to do. So maybe they are at 70-75%, well enough to play but that also says we may not get their best or their best will come up short on the court. We also do not know when they was cleared to play so maybe it could be a game day decision. We also know Amy does not like to share details about her players when injured or ill. How many times did we get the same old answer when we had players in concussion protocol?

Well, they were sick. It has now gotten into the men's team. My question is is if you felt as bad as those players did, and could you perform at your Peak? I don't know how old you are, but if you felt like shit could you perform your duties at work at what was expected of you, or would you just kind of meddle through it?

I've played football, basketball, track and field, golf and tennis in high school and later in my life. Many times in my life I have felt under the weather and still played.  I just hated to miss any game.  And suprisingly many times I had really good games.   I just sucked it up.  If I couldn't give 100% and was hurting my team I pulled myself out.

I assume Bryce Williams just sucked it up and gave his all and looked pretty good doing it.  As far as Essegian goes, I don't know how being sick bothered him a lot or not.  He is such a hot and cold shooting guy.  What hurt the most was missing Berke.

I was wondering if Maryland women were sick.  After the first quarter they looked sick.

No, do you?

I don't, I'm not the saying that the team is to slow and don't have any athletic players. Sickness does make a difference. And if you can't accept that. then I don't know what to tell you.
