Berke Injury

It can take some international bigs who play a more finesse offensive game time to adapt to Division I basketball. 

Berke looked completely different against the mid-major opponents. Was the most efficient offensive player on the team through those games. 

 

As an underclassman at Bradley, Mast played against three higher level teams - Missouri, Xavier and Colorado State. 

In those games, he scored a total of 6 points on 3 of 21 shooting. And had a total of 2 assists. 

Berke getting hurt 3 different times it feels like this year hasn't helped him get confident and stay confident either. 

 

Hopefully he doesn't have any fiba stuff this summer, because he can use the time to get his body right and rest up. He didn't have much off time last year going into the season, so hopefully he gets some this year to just focus on his body

And oh yeah, go to the basket with bad intentions.   And that goes for the entire team.  On occasion finesse is necessary...but come on.

 

His misses (lately all of his shots) are just brutal.   Just rim-breaking messes.   It's hard to have hope watching that.   And for those who want to play the ankle excuse....none of that explains that degree of gruesome outcomes with the launched shots.   Plus, he didn't shoot it well at all before the injury.
