Now, a home run for Purdue.  Down 1 - 0 after 1.

 

I'm trying to be optimistic,  but it doesn't look promising.

Well that inning was the most fun of the last 2 nights.

 

4 - 1 Big Red middle of 2nd.

Our batters are so up and down.  We have a great approach one game.  The next game we look lost.  Just need more consistency.

5 - 2 Big Red middle of 3rd.

If we had even better luck, we'd have a few more runs.  Hit a bunch of balls hard, but right at Purdue.

If he can be efficient in this one, we could get 2 more out of him.  I'm not thinking he'll be pitching again until regionals, so I'd let him go as long as he has control, but not too long (as in bases loaded no outs too long).

I misunderstood the rules.  I thought there had to be a runner on base.

Finally got one. Pratt was living a pretty good life tonight.  We had probably 5 or 6 missiles right at fielders.
