Unreal - congrats to 33 on a performance for the ages. I may have to rethink my top 5 pitching performance list at Haymarket Park. 😂 No question 2 of the most dominating pitching performances in the park's history, and they come in back to back games.

NU's last no-hitter came out of nowhere too, as I remember. Kubat and a few others combined on one at Arkansas 10-ish years ago when Kubat was coming off injury. But for Brocket to do that against a team as good as K-State -- as little as he's pitched -- is beyond impressive.

Just kinda wish we could find the middle ground on the bump. One night our guy can't get out of the first inning. The next night our guy doesn't allow a hit. There has to be a middle ground we could take advantage of. 😂

Hope the guys can ride the momentum all the way through the weekend!

I got to see this in person, and it was so special.  Only no hitter I have seen live.  I’m so amped up it will be hard to sleep.  Phenomenal effort by Brockett tonight.    I’d sit in the rain anytime for this!

Same. That was something else man. Hope something clicked in Brockett during his "time off". Nebraska needs more pitchers badly.

What makes this even more impressive is who it came against.  This wasn’t some lower half RPI team like SD St.  this was a top 35 RPI team, from the Big 12, fighting for a post season spot, and with a chance at a Q1 road win.

One of the best O’s in the Big 12 and we pitch a CG shutout with a guy who

didnt make the travel roster three weeks ago and who hasn’t even thrown 9 innings all year!

Six inn. pitched with 2 runs or less. That will win a ton of games. Obviously have to get 9 more outs, but they have enough arms to get 9 outs, right?
