Two numbers stick out to me here…

Mast at the stripe and from downtown both have to be above average for guys who played mostly the 5 right?

Allick from deep surprised me a lot.  Really picked his moments later in the season and was shooting with some

confidence.

After that 34-pt. game against tOSU, Mast hovered above 35% on his threes, he only dipped beneath that at the very end of the season when he wore down some... he's gotta be up there in the Big Ten as far as overall efficiency when considering his 2FG% was 48.2%, 3FG% was 34.4%, and FT% was 84.4%. A very unique skill-set for Nebrasketball, yet seems to be the norm in the NBA now.

The fact that NU had 9 dudes between 30.6% and 39.4% on threes is kind of an incredible stat. And C.J. Wilcher was above 50% on threes for a decent portion of the season, he seemed to struggle a bit when teams locked him up in the latter part of the year. Still had 45-39-94 splits, which is darn good in college basketball.. If those three numbers added up to 200, that's basically an elite shooter & Wilcher finished just shy of that at 178, although only shooting 33 FTs makes his 94% seem better than if had performed at volume. Overall, really good year for C.J. as a 6th man, wish he had been able to finish out 2024 like the 1st two-thirds of the season. GBR Always.

I hope we keep Uhlis also

When watching the team leave the Sheraton for FedEx Forum, it was RLJ and Ulis who left out the side to avoid the crowds. They both did have a huge smile on their faces. I hope Ulis remains, but I kind of feel like the writing is on the wall.

Mast had been hitting at about 56% or so from 2 in the Valley, so between the jump in competition and/or the knee he slumped in that regard.  Closer inspection shows that his mid-range/hook shot stuff was the issue.

He was doing fine until he was hurt, yes, for sure. Competition level also didn't help, esp. since he was hurt....

Didn’t someone also mention that it seemed like a documentary style filming was happening incase we won the game? Maybe they were avoiding being with the rest of the team since they weren't really part of this year’s team?
