Watched the season opening game last night (11-4-24) between South Carolina-Michigan. It was a close game all the way.

Impressed with the newest Michigan team. Looks like a they fielded a new and different roster. Pretty aggressive and competitive. Will be tough in the B1G

On the other hand S Carolina has a few changes too, and don't look so dominate, but it's very early in the season.

i have a feeling Michigan could cause some headaches. like i stated earlier, young, but have potential.

Watched the Iowa and Tenn. game from yesterday. Iowa lost by 10. Iowa has some work to do. They had 31 turnovers in the game. Affolter is not much of a offensive threat at this point. She had only two points and that was a open put back on a rebound in the middle of the 1st quarter. Their starters all played 28+ minutes with 3 over 30 minutes. Feel like Iowa will have some rough games this year.

Michigan will be a tough win. They start three freshman. Olson and Swords will be handful.

not sure if Swords is back. lower leg injury. anyway, i have watched 3 of michigans games. both Swords and Olson should be in the running for FPOY. definitely Swords.

watching the husker games......and, watching a number of other big18 games, i tend to believe amie justs prediction of huskers being a wnit team. and.......that may not be easy. that could lead to many questions...but, that's down the road.

It is so enjoyable to see Iowa struggle this year. They just lost to IL last night, 62-57. they are now 2-3 in the B1G.

You have to wonder when CC affect will die down and there will only be a couple thousand will be in attendance?

Did that play a role in Bluder’s decision to step down after last season? Maybe she saw the writing on the wall and wasn’t interested in coaching a team of mortals after losing her once in a generation player.
