The Big Ten Conference announced on Thursday that the Nebraska women's basketball team will have five games televised by the Big Ten Network during the 2017-18 season.

Nebraska’s first game on BTN early in the season will come early in the non-conference season, as the Huskers clash with SEC contender Arkansas on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. (CT) at

Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.

The first conference game televised by BTN will tip off the Big Ten campaign for the Big Red against nationally ranked Ohio State on Thursday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m.

The remainder of Nebraska's televised games will come down the stretch in the regular season, beginning with a game at Indiana on Saturday, Feb. 17. Tip-off between the Huskers and the Hoosiers in Bloomington, Ind., will come at 11 a.m. (CT) on BTN.

The Huskers will return home for Senior Night on Thursday, Feb. 22 to face Penn State. Tip-off between the Huskers and the Lady Lions is set for 7 p.m.

Nebraska closes the regular season by taking on defending Big Ten champion Maryland on Sunday, Feb. 25 at College Park. Tip-off with the Terrapins is set for 11 a.m.

Just to add the television/video availability to the schedule, here is a link to the WBB upcoming schedule on Huskers.com.

http://www.huskers.com/SportSelect.dbml?&DB_OEM_ID=100&SPID=25&SPSID=31

UPDATE:

Twenty WBB games will be shown via video streaming from BTN Plus, which requires a subscription. Five games are shown on Broadcast TV (BTN) and two on ESPN3 (LIVE-streaming). Only the game vs San Jose St and the tournament in Daytona Beach have no video listed.
A BTN Plus subscription costs $9.99/month (for Nebraska only games).
(Subscribe at the beginning of Nov; cancel in Febr.  ;))

-----------------------------------

There are 18 WBB games scheduled for TV-broadcast or live streaming this season (5 - BTN; 12 - BTN Plus; and 1 - ESPN3).  This far fewer than the 24 games televised/streamed last season.

All 16 conference games will be available on video, but there are still 12 games that have no video media shown, including high-visibility games vs; Clemson (ACC Challenge), Kansas, and Creighton.

I don't know what the TV arrangements/rights are, but I am hoping that some of the high-interest non-con games will be picked-up for telecasting yet this season.
