The way the refs called this game then to make that call at the end. That was totally opposite of the way they called the entire game. It's hard work playing inside. Not as physical outside. Don't think all players like taking that much punishment. Some times the game resembles football at all positions the way the refs call the game. But inside is usually very physical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We were able to catch one of Taylor's games last night. Game became very lopsided quickly so not sure everything she can do we were able to see but she does handle the ball very well. Good free throw shooter. Three point shooting was kind of off at times that seem to get better later. Defense could be better but this game was out of hand so maybe kind of played that way. May still be getting back into the grove of things after being out so long also. Hopefully can catch another game with tougher competition then hope to see more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can't expect much more from Jess 33 minutes on the floor 28 points 13 rebounds 4 assists 2 fouls. Hopefully some of her critics watched this game and saw how hard she worked. Don't like to see to much expectation on any freshman because of the large learning curve from high school but I have to disagree on small school competition. There's been a number of very good ball players that have had successful Division 1 careers such as Chatrice White, Jina Johansson, Nicole Kubik who also was a WNBA 1st pick, Mikaela Shaw who we played earlier this year. I think a lot of our turnover issues get compounded by our ladies trying to do too much. Maybe Jess thinks she has to score because of having our inexperienced guards. Then tries to drive to the basket sometimes which doesn't work out so good. Not having Rachel to set screens and do the dirty work has made everything a lot tougher. Everything seems to kinda snowball with our inexperienced team. Maybe panic sets in when things start going bad. Hopefully they can make better passes and limit the turnovers.
