HUD Posted May 22, 2017 Report Posted May 22, 2017 We can speculate all we want. Wouldn't it be nice if one of our sportswriters would ask our coach that question. I don't think that's too much to ask. We need to have more articles/interviews of the WBB program. It was the same way under coach Yori. Very little news. Disappointing. Quote

I guess I understand Sharp not asking Coach Williams anything of substance in his radio interview of her last week, because they pretty much have to be complete homers on Sports Nightly. But you'd think the newspaper guys might ask something substantive. We all get that patience is in order, but that doesn't mean all inquiries are off limits. Having said that, I'm not sure we'd get a completely straight answer, like "Well, we tried, but we came up empty". Edited May 23, 2017 by HB BirdsOnTheBat 1 Quote
Fastbreaker Posted May 23, 2017 Report Posted May 23, 2017 I also wish someone from the media would ask about lack of recruiting for this year. But this is Nebraska. We have to endure more articles about some obscure 2 star extra point holder from east Texas who mentioned Nebraska in his yearbook. We are going to be mauled in the post next year. I feel sorry for Burns, who is such a warrior. Maddie and Grace are not 'posts'. They are wings at best. Quote

Could there be more added to this class yet we'll just have to and see as the summer progresses. Just semantics really...but it's really the staffs first year of a full calendar year of recruiting. Last year they were here to late to put in the recruiting time necessary to build relationships for a class of players.. Edited May 26, 2017 by redsteve whoopdeedoo and mwm89 2 Quote
