Going to Buffalo Wild Wings out on 27th and Pine Lake around 4:30 to watch the game if anyone is interested in meeting up.

OK...I'm sure I already know the answer...but are the sports bars in Lincoln going to carry the game? I see its channel 75. ..which isn't available in my house. Anyone getting together at any local drinking establishments to watch it? I'm not really wanting to be the only guy in a bar on Sunday wanting to watch Huskers more than an NFL game.

From what I've been able to locate he's playing basketball still for the Piratas de Quebradillas. At least he's still on their roster.

Yikes. Wow, somebody got up on the wrong side of the bed, and had to eat with a regular not silver spoon. . Yet they are probably hanging out at Memorial Stadium rooting on the Husker football team.

Just wondering did anyone see Creighton's game last Friday (or the one before)? How did the teams that beat them compare to us? Do we stand a chance this year? I'm going to be in Nashville the rest of the week so missing the game Wednesday night but will be back in time to watch the Creighton game on TV.

Let me guess...you are going to be calling for coach to be fired if we don't make post season. All of us care...but getting frustrated this early into the season and this early into the Coach Miles Era is just kind of stupid IMO. Yes...he's done great things at the other schools he was at...but look at this: 2007–2008 Colorado State 7–25 0–16 9th 2008–2009 Colorado State 9–22 4–12 8th 2009–2010 Colorado State 16–16 7–9 5th CBI First Round 2010–2011 Colorado State 19–13 9–7 4th NIT First Round 2011–2012 Colorado State 20–12 8–6 4th NCAA Second Round It was 3 years before under Coach Miles that Colorado State made post season. 5 years before they made it to the NCAA. Sit back and enjoy the games with the rest of us. Yes there will be frustrating moments...but there will be amazing moments too.Take a breath and chill out.

I'd rather play and possibly lose to top 64 schools than the bottom 50 schools any day. I recall we used to complain about the weak directional schools schedule we used to have that drew very little interest. Now we are complaining because we are playing the quality teams that we wanted to play for years. The teams that mean something for post season play. Just cannot win with someone people.

I'm sure I'm going to be in the minority here. There are a lot of valid points being made....but 1. it's only Coaches second year at Nebraska and 2. it's the first year some of these guys have played together. I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that Coach sees this stuff and is going to deal with it in his own way. Might be a bit to early to start playing armchair quarterback (or the basketball equivalent). We need to support these guys. Also...we are seeing things from a distance...the attitude might just be appearing that way to us.

This foul stuff is just stupid...I don't know about you guys but watching a game that is so much free throw shooting would actually put me to sleep. What are they going to do next year just have it be a jump ball to see who shoots first and then have each half be a free throw shooting contest with one team getting a half to shoot as many free throws as possible and then the next half would be the other team? We are getting close.

I thought that was a nice touch as well. Crowd was not really tuned into it too much yet though. Students need to lead that with a loud shout and then the rest of the crowd will follow. It's one of those deals where you have to start from somewhere. True....but this is one of the reasons they need to bring back the yell squad. Honestly...as much as I like studying the cheerleaders that we have...they need to bring back the yell squad. I think they could do a better job getting the students and then everyone else into making more noise.

Hey...don't know if this is now common knowledge...but there is now a gate in the fence between the Arena and the parking lot next to the post office.

Kansas....yeah I know not what.you could call a rivalry but it was one of the few games that I looked forward to in the Big 8/12 every year. Its the one game I miss from the old conference.

This early in the season I'm not nervous about much with the team. I'll see how they are after the first road trip before I start getting nervous.

I did hear...and maybe it's been posted elsewhere that WiFi might be in the entire building in the next 8-10 weeks or so. I guess it just works in the 100 level as my dad said he had it when he went to the women's game the night before. Hell...my phone spent so much time searching for a signal of any kind in the 200 level that my fully charged phone was dead around 7:30.

Just wondering what it was like to watch the game through the cloud of smoke (or whatever that is) in the 300 section. There was very little air flow last night above the 100 section. I could tell it must have been bad in the 300 section as that smoke they release for the lights just sat there most of the game. Also had to deal with a broken down elevator and the smell of burnt grease from the concession stands. I'm enjoying the basketball games but for a new arena these are issues that need to be addressed quickly.
