Big question is if they allow beer sales who reaps most of the benefits? PBA or the University? Right now isnt the sole income that the arena gets for Husker events the food? I don't believe they get anything from Ticket sales. Maybe some from box seats? I don't see the University letting PBA (or the city) from getting money from beer sales and could see the agreement being rewritten. Hell they don't even allow PBA to advertise for upcoming non Husker events (outside of posters) during Huskers sports.

Well at least I'd be able to see some of the games. I looked at my finances and decided to, at least temporarily, dump Hulu. Don't have cable but decided that my husker football team sucks so wasn't going to watch anymore this season. Might go find a sports bar to watch the away Men's basketball games.. weather dependant (it's going to be a very lousy winter according to the almanac).

We got our tickets early enough that we are getting the seats we use during regular season.

By the time we play again in two weeks, Nebraska might be the first 6 man football team in NCAA history.

Not a game I realize, but is anyone else looking forward to going...if you are going...to the Opening Night with Husker Hoops event? Will help get my mind off the football debacle for a bit.

Their commissioner is the polor opposite of the current and previous Big 10 commissioner. He comes across very wishy washy.

lol..I think we'd save a lot of money. maybe get a few more concerts in the arena? more beer sales to make up for the loss of basketball?

lol...that would actually be kind of interesting to see maybe start the basketball seaon off early with the anti-NCAA tournament with the worst 64 from the prior season.

Suprised they didn't use Ticketmaster for this like that tournament. That whole tournament and ticketsales is a mess.

Upgrade! lol..we are keeping our seats where they are...however, we are moving from the parking lot behind the arena next to the Post office over to the red garage! We will have a longer walk to our seats in 120, but most of that walk will be indoors and not outdoors.

lol...yeah would be nice if we could have gotten Duke, Kentuky, Arizona and Kansas to come. Maybe next year. ;) jk...seriously though, I don't see us getting too many decent draws to this.

Wish these had gone through the U instead of Ticketmaster. Those service charges are ridiculous.

We are on the aisle as well. To the right of the press box and only a few rows from the top. With the roping off of the floor to people sitting in the stands don't see us trying to move any time soon.

Kept both men's and women's bball tickets, with trying to get better parking for men's as it's a lot tougher for dad to walk as far as we are. We did dump our football tickets though. Dad couldn't justify the 1500 a seat donation plus ticket cost with what the record has been, and also the condition of the stadium. No rails, seat spacing that is no longer realistic due to size of people. Whole stadium bleachers should be replaced with chairback.
