Watching football...is Walker helping out or do we look the same? Have they officially said what his issue was or will that just be the first question asked post conference?

So you are saying that if Tulane loses or UCF loses that Greg McDermott could be the new Football coach after they lose to Nebraska.

Will coach allow Walker to even be interviewed pre or post (the rest of the season) if he does play? I'm guessing he's going to want to avoid that first question...about his "Injury" since it seems to be something that no one wants to mention outside of the fan base.

Won't be at the game today. Gave my tickets to a friend of mine and his six year old son. Letting my friend enjoy a father/son moment at a Husker Basketball game.

I'm totally lost...but I'm also not watching the game. Just the highlights on the ESPN webpage.

When he comes back...how will the fans respond? Will they be happy he's back? If it was a legit medical reason will they be happy he's back? If it turns out to be the magic lettuce...will they be happy he's back or will they be pissed that his lack of judgement (if stuff was legal would be a non issue) and maybe costing the team a number of possible victories..or will the fans not really have an opinion one way or the other.

So basically Walker might as well not come back. One player isn't going to make that much of a difference.

So what's everyone's prediction? Huskers or Molly Hatchet?

The lady who was sitting in front of me at the games asked about him and what his position is with the team since he was sitting at the score table. All I know is he is on the Ticket. What's the story so I can let her know next time she comes to a game?

lol..what was Kent drinking during the game (I'd like some)? Post game he introduced Coach Hoiberg as Coach Osborne and at the end he said our next game was December 17th. They all got a chuckle over the Osborne comment and Coach asked Kent if he was ok to drive home.

Bought one during the exhibition game. Saw a bunch of people carry two of the large beers to their seats yesterday. They had the beer stands open for the exhibtion game but that's about it. I don't know about the other side of the area as I haven't walked around, but looks like 90% of the consessions are closed. don't know if they just don't have enough people..or aren't selling enough food.

Which needs to happen next week or we are going to face a buzzsaw.

Btn is really screwy with the extra channels. It's typically used to show the exact same program that regular BTN shows. Not even alternate camera angles of the same game. It's a wasted channel.

Does he mean this year or this season?

Think PBS can't afford the cost of basketball games.
