  1. TP - 35% (Don't wanna be known as a volume guy, but maybe someone will take a risk) WP - 15%
  2. #214 in the nation is the type of player we've been fighting for at the end of the recruiting cycle. It's just earlier on so it feels different because we're less desperate. This is a solid commit for us. http://247sports.com/Player/Michael-Jacobson-59856 I know people ended up having different opinions on Atewe, but most people would've been happy to take him and he was #301 in the nation. http://247sports.com/Player/Matthew-Atewe-25427?Institution=2644. dit: Hammond ended up as the #191 player in the nation per 247 composite. Are we not happy with him? http://247sports.com/Player/Jake-Hammond-23651?Institution=24971
  3. It'll be awesome if they start calling more offensive fouls in the post for aggressively backing down a defender who has established position. The nearly unbridled ability for offensive players to initiate contact has always bugged me.
  4. Is it okay if we play the rest of this UNO game without running bases? Like, either a homerun or an out. 15-5 rn
  5. With Vooch, you also have to factor in hitting two pair or three of a kind and the fact your opponent may have already hit a better straight than you can get. It's unlikely you'll end up with a better hand than your opponent AND for him to have a good enough hand to make the risk worthwhile, so we should probably go ahead and raise big here to take it down now or fold.
  6. It's really all I'm saying. Just throwing out a benchmark.
  7. No, not really. It's like saying if we beat Michigan and then won @ Wisconsin we'd be a lock.
  8. Plenty of teams have had slow starts. Let the season progress some before jumping to conclusions.
  9. I still think GT has some ways to go. If they beat Nova they're a lock, but with a loss they'll need to do work in NYC
  10. I don't want to be outrecruited by Northwestern. We'll have to see how that plays out over 3-5 years, but right now Collins is having more success than Miles. I know there's a lot that goes into recruiting that helps NU and hurts Nebraska, but I'll be using them as somewhat of a benchmark for at least a few years. For reference: http://rivals.yahoo.com/northwestern/basketball/recruiting/commitments/2014
  11. I think officials can include paying for the parents to visit. Maybe.
  12. Cheering for Kentucky feels so vile.
  13. Our windfall from the B1G can't come soon enough,,, I'm really tired of not receiving a full share of revenue.
  14. I agree with someone above, but this is a message board, so I will vomit it out myself. He would likely leave for a traditional blue blood (Duke, UNC, KU...), but if he's at a point in his career where they're interested in hiring him, well, I'll take it.
  15. We are totally playing with house money right now. Preseason I would've been THRILLED with an NIT berth, especially as a high seed.
  16. Someone has said this before (and here we go making this thread more NCAA bubble talk), but if we get a 4 seed we're in the tourney. Anyway, we'd be in a 3-way tie for 4th. Wiscy gets eliminated because they'd be 0-2 within that threesome, and us and OSU would be 2-1 with our series even 1-1. Next it goes to each team's record against the #1 seed (UM or MSU). We're 0-2 and 1-0, respectively, and OSU would be 0-1 and 1-1, respectively. 0-2 is considered to be worse than 0-1, so we fall to 5th if UM wins the league, but we get the nod if MSU is #1. Maybe I did this wrong, though. This scenario is so unlikely to happen, anyway.
  17. Regarding getting the 4th place finish... I believe that if us, OSU, and Wisconsin (other than losing to us) win out and MSU wins the regular season title, we get 4th place and a first round bye. http://www.bigten.org/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/100606aae.html
  18. Everyone should be rooting for Nebraska over PSU to improve our bubble chances,
