Bring us home a win!!!! -
The thing is, we have games to play...and win...before we should be thinking about Crofton, Clearwater, Coleridge or Creighton, whatever that Northeast Nebraska team is called.

What are we making from this weekend?
Huskerpapa replied to uneblinstu's topic in The Haymarket Hardwood
But, you have to consider the context I wasn't necessarily gloating over the fact that my Cubbies won the World Series. It is when frustration turns to success it is EUPHORIC! I am attempting to draw the comparison to what it will feel like when the HUSKERS move to that same level. Did I mention the CUBS won the flippin WORLD SERIES! -

What I have learned: - We have a young team with a lot of talent. They simply need the light to come on. - A few of our players are pressing big time. - We have a few a**h***e "fans who believe they know the game, what they share what they think they know, it tells many that they really don't know crap. - We need to grow up quickly. I am frustrated that we are within reach, but that can oftentimes be the hardest place to be for long suffering fans. - The Cubs won the World Series this year. I am here to tell you, when frustration turns to success, the feeling is indescribable. -
HHCC Game #07 - at Clemson (Nov. 30, 8:00 PM CST)

We are due: Huskers 71 Clemson 65 -
Why are you not impressed by Dayton? They are an athletic team. They are well disciplined. They have a good coach. Their recent history is excellent. Prior to the game, most "experts" predicted them to win. You may be frustrated, you may even have issues with Nebraska basketball and/or Coach Miles; but it is unreasonable (in my opinion) to provide an opinion that your are not impressed with that team. By the way, after we beat them, they beat both Portland and New Mexico. The three teams we played in this tournament have a collective 16-3 record. Not bad. But I guess there is no reason to be impressed, nor is there a reason to believe our team grew up a little as a result of this tournament.

Due to a change in NCAA rules do we now have two openings?

I am frustrated. But we have to understand (or at least I think we do) that this a young team that is inconsistent at this point. There will be times where we are amazing, and times like today, where we kinda sucked. + I am a big MJ fan, but he had a bad outing today. + Ed is a man, plus he works his butt off. + Glynn played well on defense, but he was offensively challenged today. + I do not intend to disrespect Nick, but I am confused why he made it into the game today in that situation??? + Jack, well Jack is struggling right now. We need him and need to get his shot back...quickly. + I thought the freshmen did okay today. Perhaps the playing time needs to be extended a bit. + I am very pleased with how Tai is playing. He is playing his butt off and is providing excellent on court leadership. I worry a bit that the team may be over reliant on him. Sort of the Shavon syndrome. We need others to pick up their games to compliment the heart and soul be exhibited by Mr. Webster.

Va Tech is a good team, but if we play close to what we are capable of, we win. That my friends, is frustrating. -
