I think shoulders are the most common (chronic) injury in volleyball requiring surgery. Knees not such an issue because players are not jumping in traffic. I'd love to see her play in a volleyball match.

Better in all areas offense. Defense improved tremendously last year when guys started buying in. You could see it game by game especially with Walt/Rivers. Defense will be improved this season as I'm assuming those guys pick up where they left off. Losing Smith hurts, but very lucky to have Ayegba coming in.

Excited for this season. Can't wait to see how the vets improved and new faces on the court. I'm going to catch the Wayne State game. In town for Purdue game and all that. Added bonus get to see Sadie play again and also some of the Nebraska girls I've been watching for years as well.

I doubt Coach Beck can get away from her BB duties at Cedar Ridge H.S. in Round Rock, TX. Oh I bet she could since that is a Sunday game. Who knows. Would be cool.

I wonder what the selection process is for coaches for the U18 team. Do they all buy lottery tickets or something?

Like kansas and steve said, I also suspect Smith could find the floor sooner than later. Found it really exciting that Cady would mention one of the newbs defense as a strength. Shoot, I hope all the newbs are good enough to get on the floor sooner than later.

Efficiency. That's going to have to improve to repeat/maintain conference and national status. Example: Everyone not named Laudermill, Cady or Theriot better be working on their free throws to get that percentage up a little.

WNBA is the most competitive. I'll be following Zeroes in the Aussie league along with KG23 and Chelsea Aubrey (assuming she's back again). Just because she got waived by the WNBA champs doesn't mean she's not good enough to play in the league. They only have the best PG in the league right now and making room for another run to the championship. Double zeroes will find her spot I'm sure.
