So much this. I know a lot of us remember some of those Creighton teams that would go at least 10 deep, play full court man, and wear people out. This combined with some really, really skilled players Nebraska has, and has coming in, would be so much fun to watch. GBR

Did you watch the video ? In it she said that she just listed schools not that she was interested in any of them and then they say that she can't go to any of them. That is absurd what a bunch of %$#&^%* MORONS. Yes, sad situation and KSU is now the punchline. One of the lol comments from ESPN: I guess the "K-State" on the uniform stands for Kafkaesque State.

That AD comes off looking like an amateur throwing a temper tantrum. I saw the list that Romero compiled of schools she'd be interested in. Under "Big Ten" Nebraska was listed. And then the release specifying she can go anywhere she's *not* interested in...quite ridiculous.

The Kansas City Star article that Voepel wrote got taken down. From what I gathered Patterson made bible thumping a requirement of her players, and basically disowned Wrecker for daring to play softball. Hope Patterson bible thumps her way to retirement. Sounds like K State ain't letting her shop that frosh around as a resume enhancement. Maybe shouldn't translate what I've seen, but shame on the KC Star for taking that down. It's not like those things take up much server space.

Bernard King for sure. Used to see Dale Ellis play in some great ones as a Mav/Sonic vs. the Nuggets back in the day though. Those were some fun games to watch with a lot of scoring.

I voted for the title. Really though, this season was my favorite season to follow in a while. And JHoops senior night was really, really special. And KG23's jersey retirement. I think I may have gotten some dust in my eye on all three of those occasions. Really was quite the beautiful season. Future is bright for Husker hoops! And I can finally say, not just the ladies!

Forgot about this too. Thanks! Twitter feed suggests Aug 2nd for road trip. Minnesota at Tulsa...sounds like a good opportunity to see Zeroes and Hoop in one shot.

Yori's honesty can be brutal. If the Huskers had made it to that game, she wouldn't have said it that way (IMHO). I'm proud of Nebraska's coaching staff. I think if you're a fan who's even close to being on the fence about it, note the obvious respect Coach Yori receives from her peers. Not just regionally but nationally. edit: Although to be fair, questioning Coaches quote and coaching ability are not the same things. I'm O.K. with the quote because it's honest. But I believe the Huskers will get to that next level, and I think the incoming recruiting class can only aid in getting there sooner than later.

Sad face for me. Really bummed. How does anyone get kids willing to play off the bench if Nebraska kids won't? Wishing the best of luck to Sadie. Brought a big smile to my face so many times this season. Big heart, big hustle.

Watched the game and also watched post game coach interviews. I watched UCONN post game and didn't see any comments about Nebraska. To be fair, I don't think anyone asked him. Gary Blair, however, was very complimentary of Lincoln hosting, and Nebraska fans in particular. He offered this in his opening statement. I find it impossible not to like Coach Blair. Have never seen anything other than class act from him.

Bummer for her. Could you imagine being the incoming coach and having Banham and Zahui sitting there on your roster? Good problems to have.

Absolutely no doubt. I'm thinking a KG23-type timetable. Would predict same timetable for Zeroes.

LA teams never have attendance at regionals. Even if it's one of their teams playing an NCAA tourney there. Their fans talk about how there's "just too much to do" in L.A. aside attending a game. Pretty sad.

I've laughed before at the free pizza and other promotions but I'd like to see Nebraska do something in an attempt to get more students to the games. Obviously, Nebraska will get great fan support without extra stuff like that. I just want to see more students there. It really makes a dramatic difference. I watched pieces of the Iowa, MSU and Penn State games. Penn State I thought was in serious trouble. Lucas had the pouty/bad body language going on in the piece of the first half I watched. She stood around on offensive end while being faceguarded and PSU basically played a 4v4 game. IIRC, they did that vs. us in the first half of the game at PBA this season. Glad I'm not a PSU fan, because that would drive me bananas.

The Iowa State fans now have lots of time on their hands to try and catch up.

Have voted every day pretty much. Helps when Zeroes tweets it daily.

I like watching BYU. They're shooting it and defending the paint really, really well.

And the bench scoring WOO HOO. ;) It's an odd thing to mention, maybe, but it always makes me cringe when bench players miss free throws at the ends of games. Kind of like fingernails on the chalkboard for me. Maybe a cleaner way to say the same thing is the team finished well as a whole. Going to be fun checking out BYU vs. NC State and maybe flip over to SD vs. Stanford every now and then just in case.
