Especially with the shot clock down to 3. The only game I watched Rutgers play, was when they played Indiana. How did Indiana keep this team within striking distance most of the game?

The main thing with him is learning to stay on the court by not fouling. Only got 5 minutes because he had 2 fouls.

I have a feeling the defensive stats are not as good this year as that year. 2015-16 PPG - 68.1 RPG - 32.9 APG - 10.8 SPG - 6.2 BPG - 3.9 FG % - 42.3 FT % - 71.5 3pt % - 34.0 TOPG - 13.0 2013-14 PPG - 65.2 RPG - 35.0 APG - 11.1 SPG - 5.3 BPG - 3.2 FG % - 42.0 FT % - 68.1 3pt % - 31.5 TOPG - 12.4 I still think that this team needs to really tighten up on the defensive end. Until they do that, they will struggle.

Miles is 3-1 vs. Collins in head-to-head match-ups. I can name some players who have played above their potential for Nebraska Terran Petteway was a player who was rated 3 stars with some Power 5 teams offering scholarships. Turned him into a 1st Team All Big 10 player. Shavon Shields was another 3 star player who had no offers from Power 5 teams. He has turned into a very good player. Andrew White was a pretty sought after player coming out of high school, but averaged 3 ppg for Kansas in 2 years. He is now averaging 17 a ball game for us.

I think we need to find that underrated big man, like Jacobson and Hammond, and beef them up. Get them some experience and hope by the time they are juniors and seniors they are adequate big men. I still do not understand Miles' frustration with Hammond. I don't think Hammond has played God awful this season. He's had some bright moments, but his minutes are next to nothing. I don't know if Miles is trying to set a fire under him. If he just wants him to leave to open up the scholarship. If he's struggling with academics. I just don't get only playing him 8 minutes in 3 games. Especially, when he played pretty good defense against Indiana, and he is the only guy on the team with height.

Watson must be really good, but I agree. I just hope it doesn't take that long, and Morrow is better than Woodbury. Woodbury is not a very good basketball player.

Another decent effort. Just not enough fire power, and experience. Really could have used Tai's scoring against Northwestern and Indiana. Nevertheless, it was nice to see tonight. The difference was the 12 - 0 run at the end of half. We lose by 11. Iowa has way too much talented experience. Uthoff and Gessell were too much. Woodbury is not a very good basketball player. 2 - 7 from the floor. 8 points 6 rebounds against Nebraska in 31 minutes from a big man. Need better ball movement. 8 assists on 25 makes. Not good enough. Need to get that up to 50% IMO. One of the better teams we will face on the road. Just need to give this effort every night, and good things will happen. Need to go back to work, and get one of these. We need to win Saturday to get a little more pep in our step.

Plus, it pisses off the Iowa fans.
