If you only casually follow sports/just Husker football you might think about Creighton the same way you think about UNO....especially if you don't live in Omaha. I'm perfectly fine with Creighton not losing every single game...it's going to be a lot more satisfying beating Creighton teams in the future that way and it doesn't mean a RPI hit. Once again, this game on ESPN means a lot more to us nationally than it appearing on NET. I'm even more fine with us beating them so consistently they want to get out of playing us every year. I get the Crayton Hatin though...I personally feel it a lot more towards Iowa. I'm not one who hates Creighton, and I wouldn't mind it if they make run (if we bow out). It's probably because I moved out of state in 2002 and hadn't lived in Omaha since 1997 so I didn't have to deal with all the obnoxious fans.

I'm stuck at work Friday, although my last patient of the morning leaves at 11:45 a.m. and then I have lunch until 1 p.m. I might have to see if that 1 o'clock patient can move back to 1:45. You know, for therapeutic purposes.

I grew up in Bellevue and was one of those guys who liked seeing both Nebraska and Creighton do well. Nothing has really changed IMO. If Nebraska bows out, I have no problem with Creighton making a run. As for Friday-Sunday in San Antonio, I'm hoping that the ISU fans will show us their full support in cheering against a Big 12 rival and against Greg McDermott since he was terrible in Ames.

BYU didn't surprise me, but getting a 10 seed was a shocker.

It's strange that we struggle so much with zones when at one time we can have four decent to good 3-point shooters on the floor at one time.

Yeah, when I saw Dayton and then BYU as a 10-seed I was pretty nervous!

Not only that, but MSU's bigs are athletic enough to run around screens and make McDermott work on the outside. That definitely is not a matchup I'd want if I were them.
