I voted basketball. Just because Saturday shows that just because you get lucky enough to get to the game, you might lay an egg. Basketball has a better chance ONCE we get to the show, because we might get a better draw or an easier game. The football game is going to be against a very good team, most times. While if you have a good enough season to get to the big dance you might get a very beatable draw.

We do have to remember that he is a 17 year old kid. He has traveled and been to many places, but that is not the same as moving 2,000 miles from home for 4 years. I would be happy with him visiting, handing us his signed LOI and going home. If I remember, he is working out with the New Zealand National team. Which will be good for him. He then can get his fun out of the way and be ready to come and play here. Remember when Barry let Alec go home early at Christmas that one year? He hadn't been home for like a year and a half and really needed to be there. Sometimes we forget that these young men and women leave their support systems to come live here. I get to go home every night and see the family. Heck both my wife and my families live here so we can see them any time we want. (We can also avoid them when we want. ) It can be hard on some. So let him enjoy his summer after his senior year and come here for our summer to learn what he needs to know.

The real important thing is that he feels good with the guys who will be returning. My son asked who would be taking him around, I told him it would be someone that he will hopefully bond with. He also asked if might be one of the Nebraska kids so that they could show him more than just Lincoln. Remember reading about the Osborn twins on the football team going out to the farm and having a blast.

I liked how the game was reffed. It allowed Andre' to "play big". They realized he is a big man and let him play that way. There are times where, because of his size, Andre' either gets a call against him or a no call that should have been called. The refs did the best job of calling a good game in Andre's favor as I can remember.

I think it was just Connie blowing off some steam. I went last night and thought that we looked out of control at many times. And then I thought they got very scared and everybody tried to take over and not do what Connie wanted them to do. Helter Skelter works very nicely when both Helter and Skelter are working.
