Andre gets screwed no matter what. He is fairly strong so he can go to the basket with guys hanging on him, no call. He takes the charge, doesn't go down like an Italian soccer player, no call. Sets a pick, guys bounces off, call. Tough to be so big and play basketball. I think many aren't use to seeing some one like him and don't change their reffing style accordingly.

I think that there is a respect between the team and the coaches. Also seems to be a good comfort level. The biggest difference this year can be summed up in one play last night. I looked down and 3 coaches were standing and coaching/teaching, and Miles was not one of them. He was down the line talking to a player he had just taken out. Feels more like a group effort in coaching. You don't see that much on any teams. I like it.

We have had more trouble getting kids here and having weird things happen to our recruiting that really isn't much of a shock to us.

Oh I know. When I have been over seas, they know you aren't local. But when you tell them "I'm from Nebraska" You mostly get a blank stare, so I say the States. Had a British soccer stay with us once. His parents where going to come and visit him. They were going to land in New York and rent a car and drive out here to see him. They only had a week to see him. He kept telling them it was at least a 2 day drive just to get here, but they wanted to see America. They had no idea just how big our country is. Never did hear how they did.

I think I read where there were 420 transfers just last year. That's a lot of unhappy people.
