  1. First of all thank you for coming on here and getting all this straightened up, takes a lot to do that. Also, welcome hope you stick around, sounds like you have some things to add to this site.
  2. Wouldn't it be great if it was Jim Burr, Teddy V and Jadler's favorite frosted haired ref, Higgins. We would still be there Tuesday and it would be down to a red zoner vs Decker's grandpa because both team would have fouled out and all the coached tossed.
  3. It blows my mind that he wasn't ejected. Dude should be suspended through the B1G tournament. Agree. It wasn't as much the arm wrestling that I had issue with as much as kicking his leg back and body slamming Trice. Totally uncalled for. At the minimum he should be reprimanded by the league. Iowa fans were claiming Trice was the one holding on. I can't find a replay, but I didn't see it that way. The douche appeared to lock his arm in, pull him down and put out his leg to ensure Trice would land hard. Looked like a WWE move. He swept the leg. Trice should have had the crane defense ready.A more important question is the couch ready for Sunday?
  4. Col that was funny right there.
  5. Huskers - 74 Badgers - 73 This time the tip is good and it will be tough for the student body to slow-mo the rush. But they do it. ESPN loves it and it becomes the new thing to do in college basketball after a big win.
  6. I will be fine with the bandwagoneers, if and I say this strongly if... They look around and learn what to do. Stand up when everybody else does. Don't tell me to sit please. Yell, then yell some more. No other Nebraska teams on your shirts/sweatshirts. Wear either red or just a Nebraska theme, or better yet try to get a basketball themed shirt. No more football jerseys and please no Blackshirt sweatshirts. Enjoy the ride and help the team on Sunday, win or lose.
  7. 35 points and 31 rebounds in his last game? Holy Cow!
  8. Dare I say a throw back Duke type point?
  9. You need to sit right behind the opposing bench if you're going to do that. It'd be especially tough in the second half on that end of the floor trying to shoot jumpers with their eyes watering. Oh no, I have been told it smells like roses. Perhaps roses that grow inside a cattle lot!!! My grandpa always said that the cattle lot smelled like money.

  11. I am eating Mexican and broccili for every meal till game time. They can't take that noise maker away.
  12. Can't ...breathe...laughing....so...hard!
  13. We might have if we would have been one of them.
  14. Looks like a go: 'No-Sit Sunday' at Pinnacle Bank Arena By BRIAN ROSENTHAL / Lincoln Journal Star | Mar 6, 2014, 9:39 AM Nebraska head coach Tim Miles welcomes the crowd to the Huskers first practice of the season held at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Friday, Sept. 27, 2013. (TED KIRK/Lincoln Journal Star) A friend of Nebraska assistant coach Chris Harriman texted Harriman on Thursday morning. A Nebraska fan who lives in St. Louis, the friend was expressing his excitement about coming to Sunday's basketball game at Pinnacle Bank Arena between Nebraska and No. 9 Wisconsin. He referred to it as "No-Sit Sunday." That expression quickly stuck with Harriman, who decided to coin the phrase in anticipation of what many are saying is the biggest home game in Nebraska history. "Why not?" Harriman said. "Let's roll with it. We need that place loud and rocking." So, there you have it. 'No-Sit Sunday' has been declared. Coaches want everyone standing, as much as possible, and making noise in the process. What's at stake? A victory for Nebraska (18-11, 10-7 Big Ten) could clinch the program's first at-large NCAA Tournament berth since 1998. It could also clinch a first-round bye in next week's Big Ten Tournament, where the Huskers could be looking to improve their seeding in the NCAA Tournament, rather than fighting to make the tournament. The game is sold out. Students tickets are going for as much as $50, which is basically the price of a season student ticket. Tickets for the general public are going for nearly $100 on StubHub. And with a 60-degree day forecast, you can imagine the energy in the Railyard all afternoon for the 6:30 p.m. tip-off. 16. I agree but I also thought that was going to,be the beginning of our turn to basketball prowess. Kind of missed that call, until now.
  17. yes you did, might try to get that flag into the game Sunday. Will have to take it off the flagpole/dole thing we have it attached to. It flags every game outside the house when the Huskers play.
  18. Great Diet Pepsi all over the table, funny, funny stuff Handy.
  19. Ben remember when Cam and Morgan and you would tell the scalpers you only had 3 bucks and you guys where so young they would sell them to you for that? Worked every time until Morgan pulled out that $20 one time.Classic Morgan move. I was going to get 25 for a ticket I was selling once and the guy only wanted to pay 20. We flipped a coin and I won and he gave me a 20, and then I basically forced him to give me the other 5. Cam should remember that one. I remeber that one. Cam tried to get a hold of to go to the airport last night, but he thought you might be working because you didn't text him back right away. We do have us some fun stories don't we?
  20. Mine with regards to Nebraska basketball would be being at the Bob when the team won to go to New York for the final four of the NIT. That is #5 on mine behind things like births, wedding night , losing my... Well it is #5:)
  21. SLOW MOTION WILL BE THE NEXT BEST THING. Everybody gets out of the way, and hopefully no body will get hurt then. If we start it, okay Colorado State did it first I think, it could become a good thing. You know how everybody wants to copy the next big thing.
  22. Heck I am going to tell my grandkids, if I ever have any, I hit the game winner for us that gave us the state title. Disclaimer, my team din't go to state in basketball and I was the student manager, but whatbare they going to question their Grandpa? I thnk not.
  23. Reading your last sentence just got me to thinking. Think of the guidance that our freshman are getting this year and for the next two years of incoming freshman. Leaders usually don't show themselves till their senior year, sometimes their junior year. But we have 3 very strong leaders who are just soph. Could also throw Benny and David in there to show how to wait your turn and if you work hard good things happen. Plus I think our leaders will be leaders all their lives. Very good time to be a #Nebraskball fan.

  25. Best part was we were in our car and they getting off the plane and my son's buddy starts waving, our husker flag. We start yelling and a couple guys wave, but then all of a sudden about half the team comes back around from behind some cars and you can see them taking pictures with their phones. That was really cool We didn't know that we could have driven up by the bus or we would have, but in the words of my son's buddy "This is the best night of my life". i told him he is young but that this would fit in my top ten all time.
