  1. Bienvenue, mon ami.
  2. As I understand it, with the two hard commits we have, the 2020 roster is full unless someone leaves. Am I right?
  3. I understand Rick plans on inviting Jean Peck up to the stage. Shaping up to be a memorable night.
  4. The only thing that is set is that we will lose every tip off. Part of Doc's strategy.
  5. Cousy, 91, got it today. Bill Russell already has his and the only other Boston athlete to get one was Ted Williams. For a good book on his life and relationship with Russell I will recommend this one: https://journalstar.com/entertainment/books/review-cousy-the-star-of-celtics-last-pass/article_645cedb9-e4b8-5192-8f68-2f296f6abde7.html
  6. Couldn't get link to work so looked up the head coaching records. Coach K= 1132-344, Coach Nee=461-433, Coach Iba=239-244.
  7. The name, the hair, the specs-we've got to have this guy. I feel a Kurt Rambis vibe if he can develop an attitude.
  8. Right now I would extend our possible finish a couple of notches in either direction, at least until we see what the other teams have this year and until we get to see the three more pieces to our team in action.
  9. Jimmy's tidbits of basketball history for today: The Maxeys originally came to Lincoln from Indiana. We all know that the Hickory Huskers of "Hoosiers" fame were based upon the Cinderella team from Milan HS which won the Indiana all-school State title over much larger schools in 1954. Muncie Central was the largest class school that Milan beat in the final game. Other notable players who came from Muncie Central were, Ron Bonham who played for NCAA champion Cincinnati , Ray McCallam and Bonzi Wells who played for Ball State, and the late Husker legendary point guard, Jack Moore.
  10. https://journalstar.com/news/local/maxeys-impact-in-lincoln-was-huge/article_a0b32ca5-8251-5ea4-8786-56a343e1aaa6.html For those who may not be familiar with the Maxeys and John Harris's connection to Lincoln's sports history.
  11. Example of the synchronicity which seems to follow me around any more. For some reason I watched an old movie "Columbiana" on Thursday night because I was bored. I watched it to the end of the credits although I didn't think it was a particularly good movie. The Cash cover of "Hurt" played as the credits rolled (which I generally don't watch). I'd never heard of the song until the video got posted here. Go figure.
  12. I will leave it in your capable HHC hands. Must go pick up grandkids now.
  13. Are our coaches yelling at players and calling time outs, etc. or simply substituting and sort of watching the action unfold?
  14. This should keep us from getting too smug.
  15. Third quarter score?
  16. Doc has taught him well
  17. chirp...chirp...chirp

  22. Woo hoo. Is their coach screaming at them yet?
  23. Does anyone know if Walker played today?
  24. So do we play exactly the same team in the morning or will they have a different roster?
  25. I'm back, lads. Boy that Diane Lane is hot. Looks like things are under control so I will check out for good now. Thanks for the updates.
