    This seems as good a place as any to ask a dumb question. What are BIG+ and Peacock and is there any way for us to watch these games without paying some extra money to Allo or figuring out how to download a bunch of crap and watching them on some tiny little hand-held eBay?

    I understand your question, Norm, but when unknowns are factored in such as multiple injuries, unforeseen team chemistry problems, etc., who could not vote for the best or worst choices. I think we'll end up somewhere in the upper middle of your floor/ceiling poll.

    If anyone can handle preseason hype well, Tominaga should be familiar with the publicity by now. He seems to just enjoy playing basketball more than being in the limelight.

    I voted an 8, and that's not hyperbole. That's no joke, and guess what, ( whispering now) ... we could win our first NCAA tourney game this year!

    Reminds me of the feeling I had starting the season in 1990 before we won 26 games and were rated 11th in the nation prior to the fateful game with Xavier. Danny's team had lost 18 games in 1989-90, but you could feel all of the pieces were in place to begin the 1990-91 season.

    This would make the NIT even less relevant. Since it will be mandatory for losers and the players might make some money from playing, it might work for us and give fans a chance to visit Las Vegas instead of NY. Let's plan to call it the "Loser's Tournament" and make it our goal instead of that illusive NCAA win.
