    No offense to Trueblood, but he and Jake shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence. As for Pitchford and White, it looks like A III has a better all-around game and isn't afraid to take it to the rack rather than just jack 3's

    This is just a hunch, but I wouldn't be surprised if McVeigh and Evelyn Redshirt. Could they contribute this year? Absolutely. But we're at a point now were we can stockpile talent, and imagine a bigger stronger version of those two. We are entering the Renaissance of Nebraska Basketball my friends...

    Alright this is a reach, but a point to ponder. Kentucky's '96 Title team of Antoine Walker, Ron Mercer, Walter McCarty etc. were all in the 6'7" - 6'8" range but they could ALL shoot and they could ALL handle the ball. I'm hoping we can play a similar brand of ball and hold our own against the Purdues of the world. Run n Gun baby, Run n Gun...

    High expectations? Hell, I thought we'd win the B1G last year. This year if we can shoot it like I THINK we can, the Big Dance and a top six finish in league isn't out of the question & I'd bet you a lap dance from a Shim Sham on that!

    We'll have matchup problems throughout the season, hopefully our outside shooting will be good enough to off set this issue. I would lean toward NAY, but I guess it's either Jake or Tai.

    As much as I enjoy a snifter of porte on the Holidays, I for one hope they NEVER sell beer at the Bank. While I understand the financial benefits would be lucrative, there is always that element of the crowd that would turn it into the 12th Annual Drunken Barn Dance.

    T-wolves just dumped Anthony Bennet this week so they have a roster opening. How sick would a front court of Karl Anthony Townes, TP, and wait for it ...... KG be?

    When the old home town first got Cable, they only sports that were on, were on TBS. So... I watched ALOT of Hawks Basketball as a kid, The Dan Roundfield, John Drew, Eddie Johnson era. I'm glad TP is on a team I have fond memories of, and I have faith in his game that he'll grab that last roster spot and blow up.

    Wish that was true but it will never happen. Never thought Nebraska would share the same Conference as Rutgers either...

    I'll say say the Longhorns. Austin is a blast, and we always played entertaining and highly competitive games. Plus just think how the Red away Unis would POP on the Longhorn network.

    Though it's oft repeated, and certainly stating the obvious, but we are VERY lucky to have this guy as our coach.

    I was at the Regional Final in '03 when D Wade pretty much beat Kentucky by himself sending Marquette to the Final Four. One of the best single game performances I've ever seen. All the Kentucky fans looked like someone shot their dog...

    I thought so CRAZY, I wish those were the Unis they wore all the time. Too many uniforms these days have so many bells and whistles they just look plain silly.

    It's hard to believe we can't land a Top Flight JUCO Center (ala Ffriend or Chandler) since they would step on Campus and start day one. Hopefully Miles is working his magic behind the scenes and we will land the big man we so richly (as in King) deserve...

    My buddies and I always called Van Poelgeest "Drago" since his doppleganger was the character from Rocky IV. Would LOVE to get one of those throwback jerseys. They look just like the ones we wore in our first B1G Tourney.

    The Football team SHOULD win the West, but I think that every year and then we lose to Minnesota (twice!). The Cagers I think will be surprisingly good and have a chance, a chance mind you to sneak into the top half of the League, Right or wrong I've always been more of a hoops fan anyway..... GBR!
