I'm just going to throw this right here. USA and our very own (Mikaela Foecke, Jordan Larson, and Kelsey Robinson) just won the FIVB Nations League title today!

I have to plead ignorance here, but has the summer league always included teams from places like Croatia and China?

A Contest to tide you over for the next few weeks

I wouldn't be surprised if mine showed up on that list. It's the first thing that came to mind for me on solid covers. The other one in my head was "Hey Ya!" by Obadiah Parker (cover of OutKast) which isn't as mainstream. I suppose this one might still be on the list as well. -

Nebraskans are Producing Basketball Babies Again

The list of Nebraska talent was so long, my typewriter ran out of ink. -
I just want to reiterate this again. Moos hasn't done anything that is rocket science; his coaching hires, funding decisions, and general approach to managing the athletic department is straight forward. You could've asked any Nebraska fan who to hire or where to put your money and the majority of those fans would have come up with the same exact scenarios. The only difference is that Moos has actually executed on what he set out to do and made it happen. And that's exactly the type of AD we've been needing for decades. You want the teams within the athletic department to rebuild and strive for bigger things? Put someone in charge who will do more than just talk about it; put someone there who will actually do something to do what they can to make that happen.

Donovan Williams (Nebraska), Josiah Allick (UMKC), John Tonje (Colorado State), Brady Danielson (North Dakota), Shiloh Robinson (Liberty), Baylor Scheierman (South Dakota), Nate Lliteras (Longwood), Lök Wur (Oregon), Jason Booth (Omaha), Max Murrell (offers to Creighton, Iowa, Kansas State, Minnesota, TCU, and Virginia), Jasen Green (Nebraska). It's been awhile since we've seen another major pool of Nebraska-born/raised talent in basketball. If memory serves me right, we had a big talent bubble around the early 90s, but we started to lose that talent pool from an outflux of parents and athletes leaving the state due to disagreements with Nee's recruiting outside the state of Nebraska (where 20+ Nebraska kids were on D1 rosters elsewhere). This talent pool won't stick around forever, but this time around the coaching staff needs to show an interest in trying to sustain it for as long as they can. Either that, or people need to start making more babies who are born with the Herbie Husker basketball logo tattooed on their arms. https://journalstar.com/sports/high-school/basketball/boys/deep-pool-of-talent-has-nebraska-hoopers-swimming-in-division/article_5a58b808-06fc-53bf-b0ca-5f3c50a0f2f0.html

I can't find any official source (i.e. NCAA) at this moment, but I somehow stumbled across a less reputable source that is showing average ticket sale numbers for 2019. https://arkansas.rivals.com/news/hogs-post-top-5-attendance-for-2019-lead-ncaa-in-postseason Here are the top 10 schools by average paid tickets according to this list: 1. Is it possible that UConn basketball could go to the Big East for basketball and then the ACC for all other sports that Notre Dame isn't in?
-
I'm sure the primary reason for them trying to move to the Big East is that recruits are saying "UConn has a basketball program?"
-
"Sources said the football program is expected to play in the American in 2019 but could go independent after that or join another conference."
