  1. I forgot one... What about Ade Dagunduro He was the star player on Doc's undersized miracle run team. He led a team that had no business being in the post season, and got them there. Not the most saught after prospect Here is his stats for the 2008-2009 season... Scroll down All I know is I did not expect him to be the stand out he was on that team!
  2. 1a) Ryan Anderson - Although his vertical may have only been 20", his bball IQ was off the charts. Had a great looking 3 ball too 1b) Brian Conklin - Still the best three point shooter Nebraska has ever had and he had a the frame of a post player... 65 for 117 Not sure if we will ever see that again! Player GP GS Tot Avg FG FGA Pct 3FG FGA Pct FT FTA Pct Off Def Tot Avg PF FO A TO Blk Stl Pts Avg CONKLIN, Brian 31 14 645 20.8 80 152 .526 65 117 .556 20 22 .909 31 90 121 3.9 52 0 36 30 10 14 245 7.9
  3. It is simple we have 3 legit NBA caliber players next year in Palmer, Copeland and Roby. 2014 and 2015 we had one Petteway. To add to that we have Glynn Watson as a Senior, and a true Center who is developing into his own in Jordy Palmer = Petteway Copeland, Watson, Roby > Any other player on the roster Jordy, Allen > All players not named Shavon Shields Shields, Petteway and Pitchford would be the only 3 that would get PT on next years team. Petteway would be the only starter. Just think about that for a minute. Shavon Shields would not even start on next years team. Combine both years Rosters the starting 5 Watson Petteway Palmer Copeland Roby 6th man = Shields Jordy Allen Pitchford ? What a team that would be right there
  4. LOL! Honestly I couldn't find a better one, and did not think this deserved it's own thread
  5. Chalk up another solid OOC team... Oklahoma State on a Neutral Court in Sioux Falls SD
  6. The fact Karrington Davis and Jordy are the bench player with no mention of Thor and Nana means Jon as no clue what he is talking about
  7. That is one only Tim Miles can answer... Sorry for any inconvenience ?
  8. Let me know if you have any questions about the chart. This is a chart that shows Roby's production from game 1 to his last game which is 62 total.
  9. So you think we are only going to go 7 deep? With Thor, Harris and Nana gaining those 7th man minutes later in the year?
  10. I know I only listed 9
  11. I personally think Amir Harris is going to have a bigger impact on this team than any other after the Top 6. What he give the team is a better chance to get our best shooter out on the floor in Allen. On offense he can control the ball and play the 1, and Thomas Allen can play the 2. Then on Defense they reverse roles. Roby - 30 Copeland - 30 Watson - 32 Palmer - 32 ^^^ They are all going to get 24-32 minutes a game. Then you have the following 5 that are going to get minutes, and this is how much I think they will get Allen - 20 Jordy - 20 Harris - 16 Nana - 12 Thor - 8
  12. Here is an article on Copeland's draft status... I don't like this comment "Copeland also may be a mediocre rebounder at best, and he has played on slow paced teams that may make it tough for him to adjust to NBA tempo right away." That is a jab at the program IMO. I truly hope he comes back with Palmer and we go on a run! Copeland Draft Article
  13. Top story on ESPN... Real good read even for Creighton/Iowa haters like myself ESPN Story
  14. Whoever scheduled the most preseason Quadrant 1 Opponants... Duh!!! ?
  15. All assuming Jordy is gone correct? Jordy is exactly what you are saying we need at this point. Not sure why you are completely writing him off?
  16. Ummm... Pretty sure we need a PG more than a big man at the moment
  17. You must be mistaking this board for HuskersOnline
  18. Well then... It must not be as bad as you thought. If we do end up getting Armon Gates on board, his perception was not bad. Then you have to look at Karrington Davis and Dachon Burke... Do they think the program is in shambles? Outside people are still buying what Miles is selling so that perception you feel about the outside onlookers may be false as well. Edit: At the end of the 2016-2017 season when Ed Morrow, Jeriah Horne and Michael Jacobson left the program. I felt like Miles and the program were in trouble, much more then anything that has happened so far in this offseason. Then we landed Thomas Allen and Duby Okeke and all was well again. With them and already having Palmer and Copeland on board I knew our situation went from crap to gold. My only advice to you is to not jump to conclusions, before you have seen all the details.
  19. Alright I've had enough of this^^^ Just because you think the program is in a bad place doesn't mean it is in a bad place. You suggesting that everyone has to have the same outlook of the program is getting annoying as hell. Go follow Haray Carry and Tuco on HuskerOnline. They might think more of your constant belittling of this program and coaching staff What exactly has gone down the crapper in the last month and half? Some imaginary shit storm hit your brain? We lost an assistant that had nothing but praise to say about our program. The kid that he recruited left for another program, and we still landed the other one he recruited. We got screwed by the NCAA selection committee, yet somehow it is Miles fault to a good amount of you. We have lost Jack McVeigh on the roster so far. None of that is as bad as people like you make it out to be. Until we lose Copeland, Roby, Watson or Palmer Jr. to something other than the pros... We will be fine! The constant lack of support and drive to express how shitty Miles is, is the only thing I am aware that hasn't been "Peachy" over the last Month and 1/2. Nothing inside the program has shown me it isn't "Peachy" Didn't your mother ever tell you "If you don't have something nice to say, say nothing at all" It would be "peachy" if some of you would follow those words of wisdom, because frankly people with your attitude are IMO one of the biggest problems surrounding the program.
  20. LCD Soundsystem... Nice I like them a lot, but don't consider them Rock and Roll. I also really like Stevie Wonder... He was listed on here, but he is definitely not RnR.
  21. I'm not that big into Rock and Roll If I had to pick 5 RnR bands 1. 1980's U2 2. The Killers (Original Album) 3. Red Hot Chili Peppers 4. Primus 5. Rage Against the Machine
  22. I'm going to get blasted for this, but he reminds me of Bo Spencer. That is not a good thing IMO. I'm not the biggest fan of the volume scorer type... aka Allen Iverson type. I like guys that shoot at a high percentage and take smart shots. I'm just tired of hero ball, and I feel he is the next guy to be Miles all or nothing player. I would like to see a team of players that play together, and move the ball around efficiently. I hope I am wrong and he ends up being a DiVincenzo type of player. Then he would fill both Priority 3 and 4 listed below. I also want to utilize our teams biggest strength Isaiah Roby. He needs to be shooting/dunking 10+ times a game. He needs to be used more, and there is no denying it! I liked Petteway I liked Shields I liked Webster and I like Palmer ^^^ It takes way more than having one player that can take the ball to the rim off the dribble. It is pointless to have a Petteway, Shields, Webster, Palmer and now Dachon Burke... If you don't have anyone for them to pass to at the 3 point line. The reason I believe that is because one trick pony's are extremely easy to defend. Here is what I thing this team needs currently Priority 1 = PG (Watson has one more year) Priority 2 = Serviceable Post player... We have Jordy,Tanner and Heiman(No way is he ready for Big 10 basketball) next year. Also not sure Jordy will still be with us either Priority 3 = Another 3 Point Shooter (To help out Thomas Allen) Priorty 4 = Drive to the basket SG/SF <- This is what we just got Not saying he is a bad pick up, because he is a very good player. Just not the highest on the priority list IMO I wonder how many down votes I am going to get for this one? Either way it is all just my opinion, and Miles know the team better than I do.
  23. It is called "Bad Timing". So yes, I am going to fault Hunter. If we don't lose any kids because of this than that is fine, but if we do! He basically took the gas out of the motorcycle when we were 90% to the peak. This is like a swift kick to the nuts, I can only hope his recruits take his advice from the tweet he made. Highly doubt that happens!
  24. Hey Hunter... Maybe you should take your own advice. You basically just ****ed over our program from any momentum it had. Thanks coach!
  25. I just don't understand why all these guys would not want to be back next year? There is a reason we never make it over the hump. It is because guys aren't in it to win for Nebraska, they are in it to make a name for themselves. If coach Hunter, Copeland and Palmer all come back with the mindset of "Lets win this for Nebraska!" things would fall into place for everyone involved. I don't think I am speaking out of place when saying that if these guys all came back with a goal of winning the whole damn thing. Both Palmer and Copeland would be looking a better draft status. You could include Roby in that discussion as well. Winning ball games, gets the eyes on you! if I were all of them I'd be all about it, but that is the key "I'm not them". It is like the office worker that is unhappy with his job, but doesn't do anything about it but complain. Then he takes another job that is basically the same thing at a different place. Rinse and Repeat. Kenya Hunter - If he leaves to UConn, Xavier or any other school as an assistant. He would basically be starting over from scratch. He would single handedly ruin any possibility of Nebraska breaking through next year, because he is a big part of the reason a lot of these kids are at Nebraska. What would look better? Taking a Big10 Nebraska team to the NCAA tournament next year and making some noise? Going to Xavier to work with a new coach that has no guarantee to do well? Go to UConn that is in the AAC? I think his best option is to prove he can do the unthinkable and take this Nebraska team to winning some games in the tournament. It is right there in front of these guys, and if everyone buys in, good things will happen next year. Hunter will be offered head coaching positions, instead of assistant positions... If Nebraska makes a run next year! Copeland and Palmer - If neither of them are projected to be drafted in the 1st round, it should be a no brainer to come back. They can play in the D-League any damn time they want. They can play overseas this year, and any other year after this one. So why not do it at Nebraska? If either of them get a 1st round pick evaluation then by all means take the leap,. if not make history for a University that would put you in their hall of fame for being the first players that got them their 1st NCAA tournament win. I know I am not them, and they have to do what they feel is in their best interest! I get that, but being a Husker Legend and doing something that has never been done by anyone else that has put on the same uniform. <<<That would be a hell of a lot better then playing for team overseas IMO
