Man, can't ask for much more from this group. They fought to the bitter end. There are many questions to be asked about this season, but these past three days have made this fan proud. We all probably know what's coming. Now we wait. - Another masterful job in the paint, completely befuddled Happ. - Glynn was spectacular today. Couple big misses down the stretch that will probably haunt his dreams for a while. - Thought Thor and Trueblood were solid again. Thor with a couple masterpiece defensive plays in the clutch. Big 3, too. - Palmer didn't have what he did the past couple nights, might have been the difference in the game. - Only played 6 guys tonight. Pretty gutty effort, I must say. - I don't know what's next, but I'm pretty proud of this group. - That 5 point swing on the goaltend/technical foul/3 point make loomed pretty large.

Sure, but when all the numbers point to the actual, eventual outcome, I don't want someone telling me "You got robbed!!!!" when, in reality, we didn't.

I mean...I'd rather know the truth/reality than have them blow smoke at us making us believe we are closer to the bubble than we really are. I don't think BTN is on in the committee conference rooms.

But considering how little depth we've had all year, they probably should have been on the floor more. If we miss on our big targets and have to go after a mid-major guy, DeVries wouldn't be the worst option. But I wonder if he'd give NU 2 seconds of consideration. Not sure how that'd sit at the blue school.

I was in and out of this game. It sounded like they put up a decent fight. Y'all will have to break it down for me.

Michigan. Their attendance can be a little tepid at times. I'm not sure Iowa packs them in consistently. Maybe they do. They sure didn't the game I was at, but they were mediocre that year and we weren't exactly hot stuff either.

Not interested in a semantics debate. The article doesn't characterize it as a firing, that's where the reporting is. Miles was told to "wrap it up" by Moos.

It never said he was fired. It said Moos didn't want him to use someone who wasn't an NU employee, so he was told he couldn't use him. It also says this is not common among high major programs. Most athletic departments allow use of consultants like Riggins.
