  1. Well, five players leave the roster, but only two really were significant contributors, especially down the stretch. I think you'll get similar production from Moses as you did from Leslee. If Fuller is the shooter we've been told he is, he should be an upgrade from Gallegos. Anything from Tarin is an improvement to Biggs who couldn't keep himself on the roster. Anything from Jake is a bonus this year. Our biggest improvement will come from incremental improvement from the big 3, Rivers and Benny and hopefully a significant jump from Webster. They basically had a seven to eight man rotation during the run. If Moses, Tarin and Fuller get into the mix, it could be an eight to nine man rotation, which would be a really positive development. So, to the point, yes, I think we'll be deeper.
  2. If NU has a big year you could see NU vs. one of the big boys in the ACC in that challenge.
  3. Five of first seven at home should lend to a fast start, MSU is in there, plus trips to Iowa and Wisconsin. This is gonna be fun.
  4. At first glance, I see us in the 10-8 to 12-6 range.
  5. February is going to be brutal...
  6. Looks like a pretty balanced schedule to me.
  7. I really didn't have a huge issue with the railing from my 200 level row 2 seats. Unless there was a play on the near sideline, which 99% of the game happened away from there, it wasn't an issue and if I leaned forward a bit at those times, it didn't interfere at all. Really, once the game started, I didn't even notice it.
  8. I thought the same thing. They've got bigger names, we've got more depth, I think.
  9. It's a formula that has some proven benefits. You can't become Kentucky by taking Kentucky's sloppy seconds, but you can become better than you were and get yourself moving up the ladder. Transfers are relatively less risky than someone from high school because you get to see a little more of what they become. A high schooler who "projects" to six feet ten but in reality never passes six feet seven, well, now you know. Oh, no doubt, but we still only have one season of it on the court. ISU's not done it for three straight. I think we're strongly moving in that direction, I just can't call us the next ISU just yet, but you're right, it is a formula that can work.
  10. Dare we say, potentially Morrow too? Webster. I expect him to be a lot closer to his potential by this point.
  11. I wouldn't put us on ISU's level yet, but there seems to be movement in that direction.
  12. No departures headed that far east directly from LNK at this point. http://flightaware.com/live/airport/KLNK
  13. You can "grain of salt" it all you want, but that was put together by Jason King he's as legit a reporter as it gets.
  14. Nebraska's been so terrible at hoops for so long with an apathetic fanbase for much of that, I don't know that there's really anybody other than Creighton that it would be. I could see Kansas or ISU or KSU or Mizzou making the list a couple of years ago, but right now, there is no real rival other than the Jays. I'm ok with that. Get good first (which they've done, or are at least close to, I think) then the other fun stuff will develop. I don't think a rival has to be a conference foe for it to be a real rival. I'm guessing the Wyoming/Ohio St. thing is more of a sample size issue than anything...
  15. You haven't found Norm's spot, yet, huh? I don't think Norm's paid for parking in about a decade. Probably longer than that. I heard that Norm walks uphill both ways in order to get to the game. He does, actually.

  18. It will impact everything because they're changing everything. We won't know the full impact of those changes for several years.
  19. If he doesn't commit while in Iowa you really have to like our chances. Oh I love our chances but don't we usually lock the thread at 20 pages of did we kill that? We tried it once. It didn't work. That superstition did got busted.
  20. I will too. I will just say this regrettably, I think we all hoped CU would just kind of tank post McD. At this point, things certainly do not appear to trending that way at all. We are going to have to beat them for recruits and on the court straight up. We certainly have a leg up this year with TP and the gang though. Creighton's lost their "best player in program history" about 4 times over the past 15 years. History would suggest they'll continue to put a quality product on the court.
  21. It's going to impact everything significantly, from the top down.
  22. Don't have subscription, but if ND is out...who else does that leave?
  23. Ya'll are bored. It happened in the Penn St. game. He finished the season scoring in double figures in five of the next six games including games scoring 17, 15 and 15 before the clunker vs. Baylor. It was never an issue.
  24. I don't know about that. I'd take another Brian Conklin. I liked Conklin a lot and he was certainly more versatile, but he was not the shoot Cochran was. Don't think that's as cut and dry as you think...
  25. Ubel?
